Second visit and loved our stay again. Great for kids and parents alike.

Loved the brook through the site the children had so much fun playing it was a beautiful site. Bar was an added bonus.

Would have been 5 stars if there had been a few more showers.

Lovely setting and the kids spent the days in the lake and swings etc,great place to bring dog aswel ours loved it very peaceful

Needs more toilets and showers but other than that we love it here

Love the old vicarage for our annual family get together. The children love there outdoor space.

1 shower and 4 toilets for the whole site. Not enough washing pot facilities. Disorginasition on arrival seemed over crowded and the staff were not clear on where we were pitching our tent

The campsite is fantastic, with a beautiful shallow-ish babbling brooke running through it the kids can be left to themselves to paddle all day long. There is a pleather of swing/ slides all over the campsite and a zip wire.

There is an amazing cave bar and washing up area.

You can pick where you pitch up and set up as you like.

The hand drier in the women’s bathroom was fabulous and dried your hand quickly. Got running water was also available all the time in the toilets.

Toilet facilities were okay, two toilets in the women’s and 1 shower. The toilets do need upgrading desperately. The floor in the women’s was very bouncy and felt unstable and it felt like you might go through the floor. Toilet roll did run out and was replace for a good midday onwards till late and hand soap ran out early doors. There was a lot of water in the floor from the shower as well. It could also benefit from a separate portaloo disposing toilet/wash facilities.

Don’t recommend! …
When looking at this campsite on google it looks so pretty and a lovely sight, till you arrive and its water logged/ run down and unclean!

• Toilets didn’t get clean the whole time we was there (2 nights) mud and grass everywhere and covered in cobwebs

• Where the washing up station was there was 2 bin bags full of garbage just left on the floor and the bin was also full that never got emptied.

• Dog poo bins full also never got emptied

• There was a massive tent at the back they used for weddings but there was rubbish/ building materials just chucked around it.

• Also there was massive pile of rubbish at the bottom of the car park, old mattress/ lawn mowers/ doors/ literally everything!

• We could only put our tent in 1 place due to everything being water logged and super muddy! And had to walk through the mud to get to anywhere on the campsite

Perfect small campsite right next to a river. Ice cream van arrived on Saturday. Bar and fire pits available to rent and wood for sale made for a fun evening.

Its a friendly camping site, river bank is so nice and kids had the best time , enjoying the river. I loved the cave bar! :)
