I love coming to Llandegla Trout and Coarse Fishery. This was one of the first places I stayed at when I first got my Motorhome over 2 years ago and I keep coming back. Beautiful scenery, fishing on site, mountain biking or forest walks close by. The onsite cafe is a must visit as the food is amazing. Great facilities and wonderful helpful staff. Lots to see further afield as well.

This location will always remain on my places to visit. An absolute must.

Wonderful setting, very friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast was spot on. Shower block was immaculate.
Plenty of fishing available but rather cold in January. Will definatly be staying here again. 10/10

The site isery nicely set out, the staff were so helpful,nothing was.too much for them.
Altogether their were 4 touring caravans in our party. The staff made sure we all ot to be in the same area on har standing pitches as the weather put pay to grass pitches. The fishing was an added bonus, the owners so gave us plenty of tips. Was great fishing even in the swirling rain.
Would definitely go back again

The rain flooded areas around the lakes.
But weather can't be blamed on the camp site.

Lovely views and very clean nice fishing ponds well maintained will definitely go back in the summer

Stayed 23/12 to Boxing day and loved Everything! Amazing place!
James, his brother and their father could not of been more helpful if they tried. Had problems with our gas bottle to which they lent us one from the cafe so we could cook our Xmas dinner. Showers, toilets etc were clean and tbh one of the best showers I've ever had! So peaceful and quiet. Clean water available, outside washing facilities. Honestly if I could give them 100 stars I would. Highly recommend. I didn't get to enjoy the onsite cafe as it was the Xmas holiday but went in to pay and it looks lovely, clean and tidy. Also WiFi on site which was a bonus to keep to kids quiet at night 😃

Only I can drive 100 miles in the hope of catching a tiger trout at Llandegla. The minus 4 degrees C (Early December 23) gave each lake a thick covering of ice forcing me into plan B.
The staff were lovely and friendly and although I didnt eat in the cafe the smells of the cooked breakfast were very tempting. Had I stayed longer, I would have been in.
This will be a superb place to return to in warmer months. The random spread of picnic tables throughout the site offer casual breaks for campers. Toilets, showers and wash up areas cleaned to a very high standard and I have my eye on the hot tub for my next return.
Thank you Llandegla, I will return with my friends......and dogs.....and rods.

Llandegla forest didnt fail to surprise me and my collie, Jet. We took the long walk through the forest admiring the carvings and the spruce trees heavily decorated by Jack Frost. The cafe has a log burner outside which made a pleasant rest after my 10 KM stroll.

Nothing at all to do with the site:
My heating breaking down in the camper.
Short days and long dark nights.
Weekends passing far too quickly.

Fantastic, very welcoming and quiet.
