basic toilet/shower/wash area, a good maintained field with a great view.
this is a working farm with machinery and animals, so if you dont like tractors and cows/horses, if you want a washing machine, microwave, power shower, stay at home.

Quiet site with lovely views. Basic but had all that was needed. Clean toilets and shower block and a small area for washing up. Was all that we required for a 3 night stay. Nice to have a late departure time as don’t like to be rushed for breakfast and clearing pitch.

Did not dislike anything but be aware of awkward junction at A6 to the campsite. We had no bother with it but just depends on traffic.

Site was lovely and the owners were fantastic was lovely to chat with them. Pitches had a fantastic view with a rope swing over a little stream that runs down the side of the farm. Facilities were basic but spotless and very well maintained.

Not much to dislike, unchangeable dislike was being on a slight decline, its not something that can bar changed as the views was so good it was easy to forget about

Hankin Farm - what a wonderful place to stay!

The farm is set in a tranquil area with beautiful views. The field is well maintained and firm, bordered on one side by a stream.
Access is good, with a shop 1-2 miles away. Facilities were excellent and kept very clean with a good flow of hot water.
The proprietor was absolutely lovely. I don't think I could fault their site.

I would note: if you're looking for a site that offers pools, entertainment, a clubhouse, etc., this isn't it. Hankin Farm is a fantastic, traditional/rustic campsite that offers accomodation near some brilliant walks and attractions.

Helpful owner, location, views, basic but very clean wash facilities, huge open field great for the children to run around (and play with their frisbee, ball games and stomp rockets), the rope swing over the stream, peace and quiet, starry skies, free fire pits to hire.

Minor..... Grass is a little long in the field (or was whilst we were there) which can result in very very wet feet when walking in wet weather or through heavy dew early in a morning.

Friendly welcome on the spacious well kept site. Plenty of walks directly from the site. Able to buy logs for a fire and showers and toilets basic but clean and plenty of hot water

The site is peaceful and in a beautiful location with lovely views. We enjoyed walking across farmland and were lucky to come across a pub with a music festival in their beer garden. The owners are thoughtful and friendly. Family members were supposed to be joining us but unfortunately had sad news about their cat.Knowing about this the owner left us a gift of logs by our camper. Such kindness.

I only stayed one night, but the site is lovely and peaceful. The owners were friendly and welcoming (even when I arrived a little later than expected). I didn't use the showers, but the washing up area and toilets were clear and well stocked.

Greeted on arrival and left to get on with the weekend.
Farm has shower and toilet facilities, as well as pot cleaning facilities. Great views to.
