Peace and quiet, very tranquil place. Great location for walks from the camp. Not too far from the beach. Helpful and friendly hostess. Allows fires and sells very affordable wood.

Showers were hot but were lacking pressure. It felt more like a trickle shower. Cleaniness of the shower/disabled area could also be improved on (some visible signs of dirt/cob webs around the walls as well as on the baby changing shelf). Wifi only available next to the toilet block area ( not so good if you want to watch netflix in your van on a rainy day), but it forces you to be closer to nature I guess.

Warm welcome, clean facilities, calm and quiet site, gorgeous views, plenty of walks, lovely boating lake (canoe), wood available for fires, plenty of things to do in the area

Really loved this site, generous size pitches, complete with picnic bench and fire pit. Lovely remote site, nice and peaceful, really enjoyed being out of phone signal for a few days, enjoying the outdoors and walking. Lovely friendly lady who runs the site. Shower/toilet block was clean and had everything we needed to use while camping.
