Friendly staff and everywhere kept clean!

Location - beautiful spot near the River Trent and walkable to 2 lovely pubs in the villages of Bleasby and Friskerton.
Pitch - Non-electric campers can pick their own spot in 1 of 2 level fields. Bit of a walk to the toilets but a beautiful and peaceful place to camp.

Toilets - Having only 3 ladies toilets would be very busy if the campsite was full, would be great if could have a portaloo or compositing toilet in the non-electric fields.

Great location close to River Trent path, nice and quiet, very laid back set up, were able to just choose where we parked and plugged in. Guy on the Gate was very Friendly and helpful. Clean facilities, Electric showers, Fridge freezer to use Microwave, Toaster and washing up facilities all clean and tidy. Nice Pub just a 10 min walk (Waggon and Horses), not the sites fault of course but found it odd that food not available until 5pm even on Good Friday, then Rammed at 7pm and Kitchen closes at 8pm. The Bromley at Fiskerton is a 45m walk along the river Trent, Lovely place - good food reasonable prices as was The Full Moon at Morton. All Highly recommended if the weather not ideal for BBQ on the site. Late check out 12 noon.

Olive, the lady who oversees the site, is so very welcoming and friendly!

Child friendly with plenty of room for them to play on their bikes, play football ect!

Touring pitches are nice and spacious.

Showers are warm and toilets are clean.
Kitchen area with a fridge freezer and microwave for all to use.

Great price for a 3 night stay!

10 minutes walk from a local pub, The Wagon & Horses, dog friendly both inside and outside.
45 minute walk along the River Trent to the Bromley Arms at Fiskerton, again dog friendly.

Loved that they have a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer all free for you to use! This was a massive help as when we arrived on site we’d not eaten and in our van we don’t have cooking facilities so this was perfect-and for this reason we will definitely be returning!

I stayed in my campervan with my mum. We arrived in the evening and was welcomed by Lofty who was very helpful and friendly. The campsite was very quiet so we had the kitchen and toilet block pretty much to ourselves for the duration. The kitchen had a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge freezer and 2 sinks for washing up. We stayed for 2 nights. The site is in a lovely location, quiet and peaceful, short walk to the River and had a lovely pub just up the road. Wagon and horses. The site was a perfect location to visit my daughter who is at the Brackenhurst uni in Southwell.

I think if the site had been busy then 3 ladies toilets and showers is definitely not enough and the block needs to be updated, quite shabby for a site the size that it is. One of the toilets was out of order during our stay and the facilities were not cleaned at all during our stay. The office was also shut the entire weekend, however there was a number to call if we had needed to contact someone.

Lovely hosts. Very attentive welcoming and attentive.
Quiet. Whole field to myself due to time of year (Early April)
Great for my dog.
Clear sky at night.
Bird song in the morning.
Frosty start.
Great one night getaway.

Shower block a little tired. Didn’t use facilities as only one night stay.
