Probably put lights on the park, no cups in the pod

XL pitch large and quiet. Friendly staff. Secure entry to touring pitches.

Areas around the touring/motorhome pitches are unkempt - grass overgrown. XL pitches are hardstanding stone. No shop on site for essentials. No restaurant on site, burger van only. No WiFi.

The swimming pool was ok, only one working toilet between 40 pool users men and women, with no women’s waste facility nor facility to dispose of baby swimmers - had to take with you!!

The touring site has seen better days the pitches were over grown and neglected, nettles were everywhere and made plugging into electric hook up difficult. Three children with us and all got stung by them. There is no shop on site so need to take everything you need with you. The facilities are tired and unclean - the site has no saving gracees as there is no where to even go for a walk.

Kayleigh the staff member and the burger van man was lovely.

Wouldn't go again.

Pool hasn't been scrubbed in a while
No map to show where to go and pitch up had to unhook twice before even finding our pitch as the roads are that barrow you can't turn around.
Function room and floor near bar area clearly doesn't get cleaned full of spilt drink stains the kids clothes were filthy from playing.
Stinks near the public shower rooms.
Kayleigh the blonde lady on desk was lovely and went above and beyond to improve our stay, the lady on desk could crack a smile.
Woke up to sick infront of our tourer.
Pitch was poorly maintained full of weeds and not clear which part is ours.
Games for kids were fine.
No cash at bar and no cash machines for kids game room. Note machine for changes was out of order also.

Said WiFi included ...you get 1 hour then have to pay for package.

Dirty pitch, not maintained.
Dirty sanitair, i think they don´t clean it. When i arrived there was outside a sign that they where cleaning, when i leaved the sign was still there and it was not cleaned.

Keeping deposit for a couple of days, not sure if that’s right? Hoping I will get my deposit back.

Size of the pod.

The pods are on a bit of grass on a slope there’s about 6 foot of grass slope (going downwards) in front of the pods then the main road & barrier to get on site which is busy & no fence, the view is the toilet & shower block & everyone coming on to site staring at you! I had my 2.5 year old grandson with me & the poor kid couldn’t play in front of the pod. I’ve never stayed in a pod that isn’t level with flat grass & space for kids. I could feel the mattress springs & the futon was shocking too. No fridge or running but there’s a sink? Porch floor on the pod had holes in it & was warped. The park is absolutely rubbish, outdated & tiny. Shower block is old & outdated in fact the whole place is. The pool tiles are all brown slimy, you get an hour in it. It all needs updating & some money spending because it just looks so scruffy but has so much potential. Everyone we spoke to was unhappy with the place. It’s false advertising & I’m contacting Pitch Up because it’s definitely not 4 star, maybe a 2 at a push. No soap in the dispensers in toilets, no straws behind the bar which opens at 5pm with no entertainment. Will never be going back.

The swimming pool was nice warm and clean.

The touring pitches all looked very scruffy! Broken fences ,electrical hook ups broken showing live wires and the fire point was not visible as was in the bushes,very dangerous.
All needed weeding and mowing.Touring pitches very cramed together with no guide lines to help with placement of your caravan.They double booked several of us on the same pitch blaming it on you(PITCHUP)

In the park there was glass all over the floor .This was never maintained by the staff we ended up tiding it up ourselves before someone got hurt

Arcades machines very rarely on for the children to enjoy..
No consistency with the mobile catering van, never knew when it was going to be open and with no shop on site made it hard to buy food. The wifi was terrible hard to make a phone call.The bar also disappointing not very well stocked even ran out of straws. Overall this is definitely not a four star sight!

The lack of staff is definitely showing on this site but the staff they do have work incredibly hard such a shame

We will not be returning!!
