Location was a great base for exploring Cornwall .
Quite site.
Good flat grounds for camping.

Facilities- disgusting! Needs a proper clean, Very unkept and needs a huge modernisation. Nowhere to get changed after a shower.
Only 1 family room- needs more.

Every thing. Every one friendly an polite. Shower block was spotless Every time I went . Also went the pub for a lovely pint an had a nice evening. Gardner been out twice on mower.

The rain which I no you cannot control and going home.

Site well kept, no litter, toilets/showers clean, staff friendly, decent facilities and a good pool/gym.

The pub toilets were minging - So much so we didn't go back a second time to see if there was improvement. We just avoided it altogether.
The site has a noise/music curfew from 11pm, which is neither enforced nor adhered to, so you have to berate other campers yourself, and embarrass people into having consideration for more than just themselves. Half the time you have to suffer constant opening/closing of car and van doors/boots/sliding doors, a bit of drum and bass, with an hour or so of why some random guy needs his sleep because he has to drive along the M4 the following day/later on that morning, and hes not happy that other in his party are drunkenly poking fun, all between 11pm until gone 2am or worse, then from about 6am onwards too. From our 7 night stay we had 3 that we managed to get to sleep and stay asleep. Zero help from the team that apparently patrol rhe site to ensure peace and quiet.
When you leave voicemail regarding noise, you have to call again in the morning as nobody investigates nor returns your call. When you call again, you have to call yet again because they don't return your call. Not really what you need after driving for 7+ hours to get there, knowing you have to drive the same on your return journey.

The facilities at the site were amazing, the pool and on site pub was an added bonus!

We like the idea of the pool and amenities the campsite offered and couldn’t wait to come and stay but unfortunately I was very sick and emailed to ask to move my dates for next summer but they declined and I lost all the money paid.

Disliked that there is no option to transfer stays to another date for the next summer.
I was offered dates for the next couple of months which wasn’t ideal, think the policy of changing dates should be offered because it’s not a cheap camping holiday after all.

We camped here for a few nights, the very last week of the summer holidays.
We were able to set up earlier than 3pm as our pitch was empty and had been checked.
Booking swimming was easy and simple.
Great base for visiting Cornwall.

The indoor pool gets very busy. So busy that after a couple of visits I preferred not to go back. The indoor pool has an open plan changing room with one toilet, so best to arrive ready to swim if you don't want to change in front of other swimmers. There are no lockers, however there are some hooks around the pool to hang your bag/ belongings.
