Query the Dutch-, German- and English-speaking crew of this scenic family-friendly park for recommendations on where best to explore first in the area, from hikes in the surrounding forest to a potter around the old market of nearby Eersel, or play parks, museums and city sightseeing at Eindhoven within half an hour's drive. This big woodland park has a full summer programme of leisurely activities for all ages (think foam parties, kids' discos, card games and lively music evenings), alongside stacks of sports facilities: think huge pétanque area, paved street football courts, beach volleyball and tennis. One of the most excellent features of this excellent family site is the number of playgrounds, set strategically around the grounds so that even impatient offspring never have to go far to get into their swings, sliding and climbing groove. The giant bouncing pillow should keep the most energetic occupied, and there's a fine on-site pond too, where all ages can try their luck fishing, or just waddle along to look at the ducks. Key to the site's success is its big pool, surrounded by a sun terrace and a paddling pool. For food, there's a café-bar, and a supermarket stocked with daily essentials.

Понравилось The open spaces and the quiet ( we stayed low season)
We brought our dog, and the campsite is very dog friendly

Не понравилось Lots of small toilet blocks throughout the campsite, which is good, but not one of them had a sink or basic soap
The main toilet block is the same, but you then have to go into the shower rooms to use a sink. But again no soap.

Понравилось Really nice place to stay, lots of play areas, outdoor pool with a slide, and mini golf.

Last time I stayed at Easter and they had an Easter egg hunt, which was really nice.

This is a family run site (third generation), and you can tell that they care and can't do enough for you. They all speak English, which is helpful for a non Dutch speaker 😆 🤣

Понравилось The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The facilities are very good, catering for holiday makers of all ages. The pitches are good with toilet facilities spread all over the site.

The fishing lake, where we went for a few hours most evening was hard work, but the rewards far exceeded the patient wait.

The local villages and towns are very welcoming, with coffee shops and ice cream parlours. The city of Enidhoven is not far, with several attractions near by.

The self service shop is great, with fresh baked products every morning and the pools are well used and child friendly.

The site has quiet hours after certain times in the late evening, which we found perfect for us.

Не понравилось The only thing we disliked was some of the facilities opening times, like the café next to the pool. However we considered that we were in a different country where this my be the normal.

These green and peaceful surroundings are splendid for cycling for all ages: hire a bike from the Eurocamping Vessem team to pedal around the nearby forest trails, or on some of the 229 kilometres of moorland to the north of the site at the Neterselse Heath. Local town Eersel is in the famed Kempen area, a natural region in the south-eastern Netherlands stretching across to north-eastern Belgium. Part of it includes the pine forest, rivers and heathland of the Hoge Kempen Nationaal Park, and its 200 kilometres of walking trails, guided ranger tours, 100-metre high peaks and paths for cycling and horse riding. Beekse Bergen, with its zoo, water play area and kid-friendly attractions, is less than half an hour by car, and there are more indoor and outdoor rides, play areas and slides at the Dippie Doe carnival family park at Best. For another great family day out, the magical world of the Efteling theme park is a 40-minute drive away.
