Anywhere near to fill up, the lady was very nice but the man owner was very rude

We are, however, genuinely surprised by your overall rating, as it is exceptionally low compared with the feedback we usually receive from our guests. We would therefore like to clarify a few points for the benefit of future guests.

Regarding the bins, we are sorry that you found them unsatisfactory. However, we empty them at least four times a day precisely to ensure that they remain accessible and that the waste area stays clean. Our campsite also has clearly displayed sorting instructions, in English, both on arrival and at the waste disposal area and sinks. Unfortunately, during your stay, we noticed that the sorting instructions were not followed by your group, and empty drinks cans were also regularly left around the children's play area. We therefore find the comment that the bins were “always full” somewhat difficult to reconcile with the care we take to maintain this area throughout the day.

As for the showers, our campsite uses a system designed to regulate water consumption as part of our commitment to responsible and sustainable water use. This system is explained to our guests and is intended to ensure that everyone can enjoy the facilities while limiting unnecessary water consumption. We did observe exceptionally long showers during your stay, which can understandably affect the availability and experience of the facilities for other campers.

We are also sorry that the motorhome water filling point did not meet your expectations. Its location is designed according to the layout of the campsite, and we appreciate that it may not be convenient for every vehicle. We will nevertheless take your comment into consideration.

Finally, we are particularly surprised by your comment regarding the male owner being “very rude”. As a small family-run campsite, we both take great care to welcome our guests personally and respectfully. We are always happy to explain our rules or help when needed, although we do also expect our guests to respect the basic rules of the campsite and the shared facilities.

We are glad that you found our location pleasant and enjoyed the swimming pool. We regret that your overall experience did not meet your expectations, but we also believe that a fair review should take into account both the services provided by the campsite and the way in which the shared facilities are used.

Понравилось My review is tempered by the fact that we arrived late and tired after a long drive and then left early next morning. We only visited reception and the sanitary block. We found the site easily and there were no access issues. Reception was welcoming and efficient and we were guided to our pitch which was appreciated. The touring pitches are grouped close to the entrance. Our pitch was more than adequate for the caravan, awning (not used) and car. It was flat, but sloping toward the range limit of our caravan legs. Overall the site was very clean, tidy, well maintained and value for money. Reception advised me as to where to refuel with diesel. One feature of the site is its easy walking proximity to the very pretty medieval village of St Suzanne, which we regret we had no time to visit. Would we go back? Yes.

Не понравилось We may has missed something, but the most obvious potable water point was in the black water disposal bay at the entrance of the sanitary block. I didn't like this and found a faucet in the potwash area next door. An extrrnal potable water faucet would be best (apologies if I missed it). On a similar vein, there didn't appear to be a grey water disposal point. Finally, if i wanted to use the site to explore the area i would find having to unlock the entrance gates to gain access as early as 7 30pm irritating

Drinking water is indeed available on site, as well as a waste disposal point. Despite your late arrival, we would have been happy to show you around the glamping area if you had asked.

As for the access gate, the code is part of our security system. It allows each guest to be completely independent when coming and going, while preventing unauthorized entry. We understand that this might seem surprising during a short stay, but it is specifically designed to guarantee peace and security for everyone.

In just one night, it's indeed difficult to fully experience everything glamping has to offer… and also to explore the village of Sainte-Suzanne, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, which truly deserves to be discovered at your leisure.

We would be delighted to welcome you back for a longer stay, allowing you to enjoy the site and the surrounding area even more.

Понравилось Shower block was warm, showers and toilets were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Site was secure. We bought the pizza a couple of times and they were very good, and delivered to our caravan. Surrounding countryside was beautiful.

Не понравилось Not to do with the site but the restaurants in the village weren't very friendly. Same with one of the shops. The nearby supermarket and the boulangerie in the village were friendly though.

Понравилось Well positioned campsite near Old historical village! Great location in walking distance from spectacular scenery. Great services even in October! Pizza and bar!
Love the music playing in the campsite facilities and plants scattered around, cute! Friendly helpful staff! Clean facilities!Great variety of structures to sleep in!

Понравилось Small, intimate, pretty site. Pitches largely level with easy access to power. Beautiful town. Easy walking routes to chateau. Showers and toilets clean and well serviced. Great coffee in the morning.

Не понравилось Pitches very close together with variable privacy between them. Although just out of high season, cafe not open very much at all.
