Понравилось Good price and we had a great experience checking in; the staff were friendly and thorough in explaining everything we needed to know. The campsite itself is in a lovely area, and the toilets were clean.

Понравилось We had a great time, the views are impeccable! The horses and cows were entertaining. I enjoyed waking up to cows mooing in unison. The site is beautiful and feels like wild camping which suited us. We were treated with respect. Toilets and showers are open 24 hours and there is access to an outdoor water tap. In the evening it was lovely to see hares and hear owls. No mosquitoes! We would definitely stay again, we enjoyed the quirkiness’s.

Понравилось Friendly helpful staff and everyone happy to help. Excellent cafe with early opening times.

The centre is of course primarily set up for horse riding but was still made very welcome

Не понравилось Price in on site bar. £6.75 a pint is a lot. Maybe discount for people staying on site could be applied

Понравилось Watching horse event late evening.

Не понравилось No body on premises no one attended phone or reception at 5.45 pm when we arrived .Ended up parking in the car park near a toilet block as could find anyone to direct us . Toilets and shower clean but not good enough service to rate as a campsite.
We have stayed at 35 sites so far and this was disappointing .

Понравилось My son and I needed somewhere to stay near Delamere Forest and Delamere lake. The location is close to both. Mostly peaceful site. Plenty of space on the site.

Не понравилось We arrived a little late due to traffic (18:30) and struggled to find the camping area, as there are no signs. We tried both phone numbers but no answer from either. Eventually we found the camping field, but signs or access to someone, would have been nice. There are no toilets in the camping field, so it’s a 6 or 7 minute walk to the toilet/shower. Quite a lot of you need the toilet in the night. Both mornings we were woken at 7am by activity on site (banging trailers nearby, etc.). I know it’s a working equestrian centre, but a little bit of consideration for campers on a weekend would have been nice. If there was a water tap or anywhere to wash up/empty waste then I couldn’t find it. We had to fill water bottles from the tap in the bathroom. The price was also high for the lack of facilities.

Понравилось Close to Delemere Forest.

Не понравилось Stayed for two nights over a weekend.

Signage on arrival non existent and no welcome or instructions on arrival. Managed to find the equestrian reception round far side of estate and the girl just told us to go back to entrance and go through gate and park wherever we wanted.

There was a portaloo provided at top of pitch area which was removed after the first night. We then had the use another toilet and shower which is 0.3 mile round trip (15 min walk) across the estate. Not the most comfortable late at night in the pouring rain.

Large trucks parked right in front of us completely blocking our view when there were other free pitches available. Complete lack of management or organisational attention to the camping/campervan area.

5:30-06:00 am on the Sunday morning we were awoken by dozens of trucks and horse vehicles driving up through centre of the pitch area that woke pretty much everyone staying there up. No prior warning this was going to happen and frustrating when the site is advertised as being quiet.

Site advertised as having free WiFi but network only appeared visible right by the equestrian centre itself and not at the camping area.

We booked here as it was cheaper than Delemere Forest camping site, wish we had stayed there instead.

unfortunately our account went live before we anticipated it would but in answer to your valid points:

Signage has been ordered.

We cant move our shower block but we're looking at a portaloo for the late night needs.

We have stopped using the hard standings as parking bays for ourselves

The centre is an equestrian centre and on busy days there's lots of traffic and some of that can be early, i have removed the quiet description as it applies to 95% of days but not 100%

We have wifi available but this relies on you being near the distribution points so youre right on the terrace is fine but not in the field so we've removed wifi from the description.
