Gostou The pitches were big, the campsite was quiet & the kids could run and play near the tent without the worry of cars everywhere. The park was lovely and shady! Staff were friendly and helpful.

Não gostou The toilets and BAD! There are 8 (womens) toilets for the whole campsite. Because of this they were always dirty, frequently ran out of toilet paper and soap & blocked! There must be some issue with cold water supply too as more than once there was no cold water from the tap and the showers were scorching hot. They were abit tired too, could do with some modernisation! Same said for the woodland walk adventure playground which is rotten. It's not the cheapest site, so I feel alot more could be fixed and kept working properly.

Gostou We travelled with family in total there were 10 of us split over 2 tents. We were amazed with the amount of space we were given to pitch. It's not the biggest site but you don't feel packed in and it's lovely and quiet. The showers were always nice and hot and the facilities spotless. There is a freezer which you can use for ice packs and a washing machine & tumble dryer which cost £2. The park and games room provided enough entertainment for our children. Lots of families on the site so they all made friends which is always helpful. We were lucky enough to see 2 planes land/take off which is really special being so close & the kids loved it. The pizza van on a Friday is a great addition & was our last night so rounded off our trip nicely. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, we had packed up all but the tents by 11am as they were still damp and were told not to worry about rushing which is helpful as nobody wants to put a wet tent away!

Não gostou We read previous reviews which said to avoid being near the waste disposal as it can be smelly so requested this when we booked. We were pitched at the other end of the site next to the septic tank drain which after 6 weeks of school holidays was a little pungent! On our penultimate day it was emptied and the smell did subside slightly. It's one of those things that can't be helped because it's got to go somewhere but something to be aware of if you have a sensitive nose. As mentioned in other reviews, the country lane to get to the site is narrow. You do just have to go steady and be prepared to reverse if your closest to the pass point.

Do gestor: Thank you for the review, it was lovely to meet you all and we are glad you will be back Can we just add though, the two pitches you had were massive and you really did not need to pitch up next to a drain! But at least we managed in this very busy year to get you powered pitches side by side. Devon would not be stunning without narrow lanes and rolling hills and I sure, in your cars you managed to get to us, where daily caravans and motorhomes manage Chris and Tracey
