Gostou The lakes for walking the dog.

Não gostou Terrible site it’s like a northern council estate. Noise until 2am cars wheel spinning out of the site at 2am. Guests having lots of visitors from outside of the site so it’s not policed who is actually on site. Partying until the small hours of the morning or having domestics 12 am onwards. The showers are terrible flickering between fecking freezing and boiling with no warning. The dog walking area is a patch of grass the couldn’t squeeze another static on what a joke!! Pay for the crazy golf, pay for fishing although it says free it’s not! The pool is a paddling pool not a swimming pool! Honestly the worse site I’ve been on it’s on a par with Atlantic reach which was shuts! Oh and reception staff about as helpful as a wet paper bag. Numerous emails sent and replies received stating I would be placed near my son as it was my birthday weekend… well the teenage receptionist clearly couldn’t give a damn about that the lazy arses!! AVOID ITS A DUMP

Gostou Perfect location to explore Glamorgan we went all over as the campsite isn’t down some long twisted road and the back of nowhere. The facilities were excellent and the young man that came to clean the showers and do the bins should be commended. We liked the find yourself a pitch approach and the chilled atmosphere. The pitch was very level and grass well kept and in excellent condition. We will definitely be back.

Gostou Free crazy golf and nice new shower/toilet block.

Não gostou Terrible pitch slopping and not suitable for a campervan. I requested a pitch near the play park of which there were many and vacant the whole time we were there, but no we were placed around the back next to the toilet and on a very exposed slopping pitch! The outdoor swimming pool looks old tired and green and slimy, I didn’t see a single person using it and I can understand why! The indoor pool is shallow and small and I do not believe for one minute it’s 31°! Broken tiles on the edge that I cut my leg on, lots of hair floating around in the water. It was cold. Booking via the online system is a faff. The staff were lovely but all teenagers and not really knowledgeable. The shop is useless sells things everything for a sarnie but not bread 😂 I got the pitch for a cheap price but still felt ripped off!! 100% not recommend!! Spend more and have a great holiday. This place probably had its hay day in the 80’s and has had no money spent on it since.

Gostou Clean, excellent facilities, super friendly owners. We will definitely be back and such a stunning location couldn’t ask for more.

Não gostou I didn’t like being on the hard surface touring pitches with my vw camper, but that’s all that was available at the time of booking as I needed hook up My advice book early!!
