Gostou We had a lovely stay at this site. I recieved an email containing all the information we needed for our stay and the code for the keybox that contained our pass. We drove straight in and out with no problems and found our pitch. The toilets and showers were clean and well stocked. We even had a pizza from the vending machine that was better than expected. Very close and accessible to the beach and town.

Gostou There is a decent children's play area. The location is a short walk from the beach and bars/restaurants.

Não gostou The site could barely be called a campsite. There was no grass, just thick weeds on very uneven ground, I can't see how anyone could sleep in a tent here. There was broken glass, metal bottle caps, and large pits in the ground about 60cm deep, absolutely not safe for children. We could not get water directly into our aqua roll as the only accessible tap was connected to scolding hot water. In the end we had to take water from the sinks at the toilet block and do back and forth with a smaller container. As we booked through Pitchup, the campsite contacted us immediately after to charge additional taxes (about £8 more than expected, on top of the local taxes), however when I raised a complaint as soon as we got there, no one ever replied. We have been to a lot of campsites in Europe and in the UK and we have never been to a place in such poor condition.

Gostou Easy walk to huge sandy beach and had coded barriers on entry to stop anyone from coming in.
Had a bar restaurant next door for food and drink.

Não gostou The state of the site, grass hadn’t been cut and looked like a piece of waste ground.
Communal toilets in a portacabin, no soap or toilet roll.
Very untidy looking site with blocks of concrete and empty pipes.
Noisy restaurant next door which played loud music until gone midnight on the night we stayed.
Also charged a 15€ booking fee??

Gostou Les emplacements ne sont pas assez personnels, je pense à un nouveau camping où les travaux ne sont pas encore finis!!!
Sinon bon dans l'ensemble

Não gostou Des enfants sont probablement responsables, canettes de coca dans les WC et plus de papiers, WC non nettoyés

Não gostou Camping ground surface like a building site

No grass cut. Filthy half bricks mud and gravel and gas pipes and electric cables protrusions from ground. Dire. Toilets filthy, no toilet rolls, no sanitary bins, no cleaning,coke can stuck in one of the toilets. No soap, no hand-wash just sinks. NO CHEMICAL DISPOSAL. NO LABELLED DRINKING WATER!! Showers not cleaned and full of sand and grit.Totally unacceptable for price. No water taps on or near pitches. The Bar was lively ( thats good) but was full on noise until 12:30! This place is the pits....even the dog had to avoid the broken glass underfoot. We did not have ( but paid for) hook up electric pitches due to ruts and trenches and filthy ground on pitch. Went to one side on the plain grass areas which was marginaly cleaner. DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE LISTED.. Maybe UK expectations are higher than some,but serious sh***hole nonetheless. 75 Euro for 2 x nights. Pathetic. Blatant profiteering from an unmanned, unclean, couldn't care less set up.

Gostou Nothing actually, maybe the proximity to the beach!

Não gostou We arrived at 3pm and there was no staff to check us in! Luckily there was a painter/decorator who opened the gate for us. The campsite was not ready and safe to accommodate anyone. There were no designated chemical and normal waste and the guy told me to dispose the chemical waste in toilet and normal waste water on the ground!!
There were loads of smashed glass pieces everywhere and we had to clear the car’s path and watch carefully when we were walking around. No light in the site ! No water in the pitches! They charged more than other perfect sites with no facilities.
There was a party in the pub and somewhere in the site with loud noise and we couldn’t sleep at all as they finished it about 2am. Toilets were very dirty and no staff for cleaning!
Overall, it was our the worst experience ever in the camping holiday!!

Gostou Friendly staff and nice location

Não gostou The motorhome pitches seemed really unsuitable, located on rutted ground, with plastic debris and building materials scattered around. We were wondering if the site was actually in development. The toilets and shower blocks were clean, but unsure if it’s mixed sex use. The signs indicated female but couldn’t see where the facilities were for men. And they were locked on the morning we were due to leave by 10am, so we were disappointed not to be able to use them. There didn’t seem to be a dedicated toilet disposal point so we had to use the main toilets to dispose of waste which is not great. There was an onsite pub which was pretty lively on the Saturday night until midnight, but was quieter on the Sunday. The location was nice but the facilities need a bit more attention to detail.
