Gostou We absolutely loved this site, everything we needed, if you are an old school camper, happy with a shower and toilets only, then you will love this site. Surrounded by woodland, the bird call is an amazing companion for the day! Plenty of walks from the site, including a footpath to the pub! A really peaceful site, hassle free, with the added bonus of a really dark sky at night along with the tawny owls

Gostou Well kept, clean and tidy site. Facilities were very clean. Fresh water, EHU and elsan were all well kept and easy to use. Excellent wifi. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely peaceful site.

Gostou Visited 19 Match to 22 March 2026 3-night stay.
Big pitches with lots of room, the site is in a very quiet area and is well maintained. The pitches are flat and we had hardstanding with EUC as well. There are two toilets and a shower on site, good water points as well. The water point at the entrance has a long hose so you can fill up before you head to your pitch. It a quiet site (No Music) and from the little i seen the weekend I stayed seems to be favourite with the, dare i say it, the older camper who just want to sit and relax. There is a wooded area at the side of the site which is great for walking the dogs around. Lots of footpath around the area for walking, we used the one to get to the next village where there were 2 excellent Pubs (The Boot and Toast) both worth a visit.
The bird song each morning and evening was amazing, and we saw Deer while out walking, this time of the year the routes are muddy with some small hill climbs, but nothing really extreme. Did not see any bus stops around the site area, but did see buses on our walks so a car maybe needed to get out and about.

Again not a dislike. No Fires, I notice in the wooded area to the side that fire to get rid of waste had been used. Would be great if a communal fire pit could be created in that area. but judging by what i believe this site is aimed at I again can understand why.

Gostou Really easy access, fantastic quiet surroundings and a great choice if hard standing pitches.
10 amp electric hook up which worked perfectly, just like the WiFi. Great water pressure at water points too.
What a fantastic bonus of having a small private woodland too. Great for our furry friends to stretch their legs.
Showers are basic but hot and do what they need to do. Toilet and shower facilities are kept clean by Ian who runs the site, who is also is friendly, approachable and knows what he's doing. After all he's been doing it for over 50 years!
Some great local walks.
Absolutely love this place!

Gostou Peaceful site, excellent free wi-fi, friendly and informative welcome on arrival, value for money. Recieved good TV reception in our caravan.

Não gostou Perhaps an improvement in the toilet facilities, paper towels and liquid soap instead of block of soap and cotton towel that has to be used by all campers, OK in your own home but not in communal facilities used by all.

Gostou Nice and quiet place far out from anywhere clean toilets and showers all gravel pitches ideal for dogs and avoiding the mud in the van

Não gostou No tv not a single channel beware unless on sky
Bins aren’t huge so have to keep rubbish to a minimum electricity is especially poor for newer vans with inbuilt heating systems even half gas half electric still trips after 20 minutes so only one higher electrical item at a time says 10 amps think it needs testing
Also beware nervous dog owners free roaming dog on site happy to urinate on your property

Do gestor: your comments tell me that you have not red our details., Ten amps is stated so is the tv reception, The other comments are in such a tone, 10 amps was checked and was correct early Dec. Other persons on the site at your visit .have no problems..,even after three weeks
