Briarfields Touring Park

Gostou Very nice little site, clean, well laid out and some nice touches with the gardens etc. Shower / Toilet block nice and clean and good that all the amenities, water, chemical disposal etc all close together in one area. We stay in a lot of sites, caravan club, camping and caravan club etc, I would describe this site as better than most of those.

Não gostou We had some power issues, we’re used to having 16A, I think it’s 10A here, at times not enough power and it tripped off at least 3 times during our stay when we had heating, water heating and kettle on together. Heating was necessary as it was fairly cold while we were here, I don’t expect to have to use gas on EHU.

We’re sorry to hear you experienced some issues with the electric during your stay. Had we been aware at the time, we would have been more than happy to help and offer guidance, as we can often suggest ways to manage usage to avoid tripping.

Our pitches are supplied with 10 amp electric, which is detailed in our information, and while this is sufficient for general use, running multiple high-load appliances together (such as heating, water heating and a kettle) can occasionally cause the supply to trip.

We do completely understand your comments, especially during colder weather. Unfortunately, we are currently limited by the main supply to the area and, at present, there isn’t the capacity available to upgrade this further, though it is something we continually review.

Gostou What a wonderful site, clean, private pitches, friendly staff and the washrooms are amazing. Well placed to visit both Cheltenham and Gloucester both on cycle paths.

Não gostou Only dislike is the road and airport are quite noisy but the proximity to both towns makes up for it

Gostou Spacious pitches, clean site, just perfect for nearby Chelteham ... especially the cycle routes which which remind me of Holland.
So if you have bikes, bring them with you.

Não gostou Lack of foilage cover between the pitches but this is nature's fault, a few more weeks when the leaves have grown and it will be perfect

Gostou Spacious pitch, hard standing for vehicle and awning also grassed area along the side. Good clean toilet/shower block well lit at night. Staff very friendly and helpful.
KFC in walking distance.

Não gostou Airfield nearby so a little e noisy in daytime but not deafening.

Gostou Excellent greeting/reception, large pitches, very tidy, toilets/showers clean and warm. Bus stops close to entrance, Cheltenham and Gloucester. Supermarkets a short walk away. Fenced in dog walk field. Second visit will definitely be back and recommend briarfields.
