Gostou Perfect pit stop literally just off Jct 21 M5. Clear signage and instructions on arrival how to check in. Large fully serviced pitches and clean bin and chemical loo area.

Gostou Lovely friendly welcome from the owner Steph, who very thoughtfully provided printed local information and map of the area. Chose own hard standing pitch, ours had a fab view. Excellent spot for direct access to the Limestone way footpath, Tissington 15 mins one way and onto the Tissington trail, Thorpe, Dovedale and beyond the other. Basic amenties and no facilities which was absolutely fine having all my own. Bin area was kept very tidy and at such good value and with so much to do I will certainly be back.

Gostou Helen was a truly amazing host, so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Site is T shaped with several pitches on the left along the top, the rest running out to the view, 3 on the left, 2 on the right (alongside the barn) First to arrive and spoilt for choice we opted for the furthest pitch with open views in front and to the side. Only 5 pitches were taken and as non are sectioned off we all spread out, with Helen kindly lending us an EHU extension. Facilities whilst rustic were clean and we found everything we needed. Co-Op 5 mins drive in Fleckney. A slow walk to Foxton Locks via Gumley took about 90mins with open countryside views all the way. A wonderful stay at a beautiful, peaceful location we shall most definitely return.

Gostou Stayed recently and immediately rebooked we loved it so much!! This time we had a lakeside pitch and it really is such a beautiful setting. The weather being hot meant we barely moved, but we had everything we needed so no need. We had a surprise visit from some friends who couldn't believe how beautiful it was and that we were only minutes from home. Pitch 16 was a bit bigger than 3 so not quite so tight for the guy ropes, excellent clean facilities once again and although the site was full always well maintained. All staff really pleasant, helpful and friendly. We will be back!

Não gostou Only thing would appreciate is freezer facilities which we find a real bonus on other sites, for the all important ice cubes!!

Gostou Adults Only 30 mins from home Spotless, modern facilities - cleaner was lovely and friendly Warm welcome from Helen Lovely views Dog friendly Footpath adjacent to main entrance, lovely stroll to Stoney Cove little further on to Stoney Stanton - I printed off Blaby District Heritage Trails for walking maps, some can be done from the site.

Não gostou Liked the fences and hedges defining the pitches - just bear in mind if pitching like us a 10x4 tent to account for the guy ropes as a little tight to park alongside, although car never moved for 3 days!!

Gostou Beautiful setting, very well maintained grounds and clean facilities. Very friendly and helpful owners as were our fellow campers. Being 3 females we felt very safe and secure. Enjoyed listening to the cinema screenings from nearby Calke Abbey for our evening entertainment! We are familiar with the area as we only live a few miles away, but never knew it existed. It was an excellent choice for a dry run with our new tent and have to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hope to return with friends to enjoy some of the 30 odd local walks, as on this occasion it was just too hot for the dog and were unfortunately forced to stay put and drink wine!!

Não gostou The doggydodo left on our pitch by those who give us dog owners a bad name! The owner was very quick to sort this tho.
