Gostou I don’t know was very friendly and helpful. A very peaceful campsite. Well located would highly recommend this place great value for money

Gostou It’s a good location to get to other places

Não gostou I stayed for two nights on this campsite on arrival the woman is hostile like you’re an inconvenience. We stayed on an electric pitch which is charged at £1 per kilowatt. Yes I did charge my electric car overnight when I charge it at home from empty it cost me £5 I know this is a business. I’m trying to make a profit but charging extortion amounts for electric isn’t the way to do it. You have to pay a £20 deposit for your electric on arrival. I thought this was more than enough to cover the two nights after leaving I was a rest for £48 extra electric that I had used they said I used £68 in two nights which is more than I use at home and I charge my car every night there are no electric charges on site. There is one shop and a bar and a burger bar. The lady around the site just kept moaning about everybody using the showers the previous week and was going to put a charge on it. Most come to do charge for showers at 20p but I’m sure they’ll be charging £20 if you go by the price of the electric I would not stay at this campsite ever again and I would not recommend anybody else to.

Do gerente: You were greeted in a polite manner given a site map and we explained why there was a charge on the shower due to high utility water meter bills, (I was not moaning just giving campers an explanation as they have been free to use up to now. Sorry but that is not the whole story! Your sister also stayed that weekend and you joined her but on an EHU pitch your electric cost were so high and it was because you charged your ELECTRIC CAR from our 16amp CAMPING outlet and left the site without paying! It has taken weeks to reclaim the over usage amount of £48.39 and it's was only by sending a notice of intent to issue court proceedings that you phoned to pay, we do have documented evidence of the whole event from your stay 5-7 June for every invoice & phone call up to receiving payment on 16 July 26 at the end of the day we are raising funds for our on site pet rescue charity that is why the campsite is here. It is now on our T&C that car charging is not allowed on our camping outlets! You should be ashamed at the review you have left as most normal campers receive a refund on the EHU and we can prove it. Your stay cost was £12pp a night with a £20 deposit for the EHU meter with refunds on any unused amount after £6 usage. PS there are local supermarket etc with charging points for cars half a mile away from our site! The playground is safe and made of recycled tyres and is new this season and the children are really enjoying it!! as there is nothing breakable so they can climb, run and jump about as much as they like and the parents are please and they can be seen from the pitches.
