Great large pitch and good sea views, toilets and showers ok, 20 minutes walk to beach.

Shower tray filled upto brim with water and didn't empty needs unblocking.

The site was very nice stunning views

The facilities were very poor the toilet and shower block were grubby there was no onsite shop to get essentials there was only one sink for washing up and it’s out in the open no WiFi on site

Very happy with our stay receptionists very helpful on arrival would definitely recommend shower block could do with being a bit bigger as having to wait for shower and also the toilet but overall very good 8-10

This was our third visit and there is still only 1 washing up sink for the whole site.

We had booked 3 pitches with another family and had specificed this on out booking (including booking references) and the other family had called the site to ask for the pitches to be put together which they confirmed. We were called on the day of our arrival by the site to be told the pitches were not together as we had booked through Pitch up and the site were not helpful in trying to be flexibe and accommodate. When we arrived someone was already on one of the pitches they had allocated us. Luckily two of our tents we not that small we managed to get all 3 on two pitches. This did not spoil our say but was just disappointing as everyoen at the site has always been so helpful in the past

Location was good, camp site was quite small so easy access to the toilets and showers. Great views.

Pitch right next to the bins 😔😔😔 felt more like we were in the way of the constant traffic to and from the bins. Not sure why they’d even try a squash another pitch in there . On the third morning the bins hadn’t been collected so there was rubbish everywhere. There was nobody in the office to complain to. Kids weren’t impressed with toilet:/shower facilities. Cobwebs and clumps of hair- not a good combination.

First and foremost we would like to give praise to those on the front desk in reception - customer service was excellent. We started in the camping/tent area but Mark (almost 70) was finding it tough getting on and off the airbed during the night and so the lovely Carol on reception gave us an offer on a caravan for the rest of our stay that we couldn't refuse. Lorraine still spent some nights in the tent with our daughter Amy to fulfil her want to sleep outdoors.

The camping area was very well kept with plenty of space for our grandchildren to play and plenty of room for fourteen of us (two tents, a pod and caravan) to eat together al fresco in the evening.

Our other daughter, Carly, and family suffered tent leakage on the fourth night and once again Carol was so helpful in ensuring our stay was enjoyable and memorable for the rest of our seven night stay.

Having the train into Barmouth was so exciting for the younger grandchildren and so close to the campsite that we used it on several occasions rather than driving.

Wonderful caravan which was a real treat for grandchildren to visit Nana and Grandad for breakfast.

The showers on the campsite were really the only aspect where there was room for improvement. Time delay on showers was only a couple of seconds although the men's showers had some cable ties to counter that. They could also have benefitted from some hooks for towels and clothing.

In this day and age options for recycling glass, cardboard and plastics, etc would be good.

Great site. Had a brilliant stay.
