Amazing place to get away from city noise. Toilets are niced and looked after. If you lucky (like us) to get space near river, can stay in water all day if weather hot.

It was a quiet and chilled site. The toilets were clean and had plenty of toilet roll. The stream and sheep running through the campsite were an added bonus!

Cash only on site for wood etc, didn’t know🐔.
No showers on site but it’s ok because u can wash in river or own solar shower etc. toilets bit old and rustic, but again, do their job!

Small shower will help a lot, for longer stay but short stay is just perfect.

We went on a sunny bank holiday weekend and it was very busy. There was some noise and cars driving around after dark. Not too bad, but not ideal either. The owner does try to sort issues. I'd love to come back at a less busy time!

Amazing place in between mountains, forest and right by the river. What else would you want? Kids had endless joy paddling in the river and climbing on the rocks. Adults loved that too. Just be careful, rocks can be slippery and some move, but it's nature, so common sence highly recomended.

Unheated toilets, so during colder period that would be a minus, which is irrelavant during hot periods. But they are maintained well and are clean. Currently they are building showers, so this place will become even better.

Near the river in a meadow

Guests arriving after 10pm in the evening to pitch their tents; very noisy neighbours (remote controlled cars which can be heard up and down the valley) which the owners did little about; cash only policy; a dodgy gate lock which we found impossible to open without the owners' help; very difficult to get river access due to the amount of pitches hogging the riverbanks.

Freedom to enjoy beautiful pitch, not rushed to leave, quiet site, stunning setting and thanks for putting on such amazing weather.

Lack of showers but didn't really miss them !
