Park and pool were close to the campsite. Lovely walk along the river.

Small campsite with 10 pitches, however this makes it very family friendly as the children played happily in the middle having loads of fun. Lovely pool supervised by 2 life guards. The park is aimed for older children, not many toddler friendly bits of equipment. No excess noise for us. As we left our oldest requested to come again, so I would say that was a success.

Could not get this site to answer the phone. Got a quick response to an email, but no response at all to a polite further message asking for clarification. Just refused to answer. I had booked a one night stay but our plans changed so I asked to move the booking by two days. I was told that there was a vacancy for the new date BUT that I would be charged for the old date and have to pay for the new one. I asked for clarification on this point (as I could not believe it) and got no reply at all. Since then I have noted that this site runs a no-refund policy for changes all the way out to 12 weeks. That's ridiculous. Please note before you book and hope that nothing changes in the 3 months before you go.

The site was lovely the campsite was small but nice and very family friendly and the pool and park were great for my daughter even though we didn't use the pool! Staff were lovely and friendly also.

The only issue we had was a group of young adults 3 boys and 3 girls who camped next to us. And made loads of noise up until 4am . They were playing music loud and also arguing and swearing up until again 4 am. Luckily it was only us they kept awake and didn't wake my 2 year old up.

The location, the peace, the view, the park and the pool. This was a lovely peaceful spot with great play facilities suitable for older children. The swimming pool is lovely too, but does have to be paid for separately, as this is a community supported facility.

The toilet/shower block was further away than I'm used to. It's a facility that is shared with the pool and is also used when there are events on the school field, so it can get busy at times. There are only two toilet & two shower cubicles in the ladies and I think similar in the men's. Only one cubicle had a proper locking door, the other was only concealed by a curtain. It didn't spoil our stay at all, I only mention it as I could see some people being uncomfortable with this set up.

Great pitches plenty of room for us, facilities were just as expected, and really clean. Pool was not far and was great in the sun. Had a great time at the site.

Toilets and showers are a fair walk from the field also the entrance to them are practically on the main road! Not ideal in pj’s or with small children. Also exceptionally high price for 1 night at the bank holiday weekend £50 🫣 absolutely ridiculous for a charity operation

Nothing to be honest we stayed for 1 night out of the 2 we had booked it was that bad.

The toilets and showers were discussing, we did not see a cleaner arrive once throughout our stay, while showering in the males I had seen at least 20 spiders with there well built webs and 1 nest in one of the male showers. Then what appeared to be a bucket and mop that someone had urinated in. It certainly wasn't disinfectant. The pitches electricity... Well that will kill someone, some cables screwed into some bits of wood really isn't safe. The gate for the entrance of the camp site could not be more hidden if you tried, a sign would be good to fully understand where to go. Overall we really did not like this site, it was not clean or a present place to be.
