Just simply lush and just under a kilometre from the beach: just French fab. The resort village of Camping Les Pins Erquy is a family-friendly and mightily well-equipped park of 10 handsome hectares between Brittany's Saint-Malo and Saint-Brieuc, with so much to do on site you'd be forgiven for not even making it to the nearby sands.
Although it's a simple stroll to the sea from here, water fans have a French fab lot to do on site too: they can start off with swims, splashes and slides in and around the covered 250m² pool of the heated waterpark while smaller sorts amuse their small selves in the paddling pool... then plunge into a hot tub or whirlpool bath, steam gently under a geyser or simmer serenely in the steam room. If you seek something more waterly active, aqa gym and water polo await energetic selves too.
An intriguingly-named 'swim spa' is on site as well, at the wellness centre (how swish) where there are also beauty treatments, massages and a hairdressing salon if you seek to reshape your tangled locks after a steamy session in the spa. Getting back to the active (perhaps do this before the massage), Yelloh! Village Camping Les Pins Erquy guests also have access to a fitness room with weights and cardio machines, as well as other sporty options including ping pong, pétanque and a multisports ground.
Faffed out? Make your way to the restaurant or bar for eats and drinks, the snack bar for takeaways or the well-stocked supermarket and bakery for supplies to sizzle up back at your Les Pins Erquy base. For more supplies as well as stunning coastal scenery, the town of Erquy is a kilometre away.

Atrações locais
Local town Erquy is at the Cap d’Erquy, a purple-stomed headland on the eastern side of the Bay of St-Brieuc. Dig into the town's famed scallops from here, then amble from Erquy for as long as you fancy along the GR 34 or customs' path, running for over 1,800 kilometre among stunning sea scenery along the Brittany coast.
Spectacular sights are all around here: you should also see the 15th-century castle of Château de Bien Assis, 10 minutes drive south, famed Cap Fréhel, 20 minutes away, Fort la Latte (25 minutes) and Saint-Brieuc (40 minutes). Dinan and Saint-Malo are 50 minutes and an hour from the site.
Brittany capital Rennes is reachable within an hour and a half's drive.
