Gostou From start to finish our little holiday was perfect. James & Viv's attention to the littlest detail didn't go unnoticed. We were met on arrival and showed our pitch by James and anything we needed was answered very quickly. We forgot our camping chairs and asked if they had any, they didn't and then an hour later we had some at our tent. The camp is beautiful and the views are stunning. The facilities were fantastic and always clean and tidy. We especially loved the personal touch where James, Viv and the lovely Darcy walked around camp to say goodbye and make sure we had a lovely holiday. The little things make all the difference and they have nailed it x

Gostou I LOVED this site - it seriously deserves the 10/10 score. We spent two nights here and will definitely be back to explore more of south Wales.

* Bathrooms are fabulous - I've stayed in hotels that didn't have such nice showers!
* The barn is a wonderful addition to the site, especially when it chucks it down all afternoon - we played Scrabble and drank tea in there and it was much nicer than hiding in the tent!
* The views are pretty special when the rain clouds clear.
* The pitches are nicely spaced and there's only a few, so the chances of it being noisy are slim.
* It isn't too far from the main road and so it is easy to get to - and as it is up a bit of a hill, road noise isn't intrusive.
* James is a lovely guy, there if you want him and not if you don't - we didn't get to meet Darcy unfortunately but we hope to next time!

Não gostou Tiny, tiny things to note, and not any fault of the site -

* If you're coming from the East/England and want a supermarket, stop on your way in - we ended up paying over the odds at a local Co-Op on our second night. (this was our fault as it was chucking it down and we didn't want to drive back the other way)
* If you're in a larger vehicle, the road from the main road to the campsite is on the narrow side.
* Cars aren't permitted onto the pitches - you use wheelbarrows to move your stuff. That was absolutely fine by us, but worth noting if you don't want to hump your stuff around.

Gostou We booked quite last minute for two nights in a bell tent - it was perfect from start to finish.

The welcome and facilities, the tent and the views. Couldn't fault this site at all, best campsite I've been too and wish we'd been staying longer... we'll just have to come back!

Não gostou None...apart from the typical Welsh weather

Gostou Loved the location and the site itself, basic but perfect if looking for a more traditional camping experience (enjoying the outdoors).

Quiet could occasionally hear the main road but far enough away to not be noticed.
we were the first family they had, so the kids had the whole field to run around with the dog.
Viv and James are great hosts and very accommodating, even checked in after I called out the AA for a flat battery offering to help.
The toilet and shower facilities were brilliant, clean, loved the design which retained the camping feel, got a big thumbs up from my teenage daughter. 😊
Whilst we didn't need it, the inside facilities and fire pit are a nice touch to escape the bad weather, play board games (provided) and enjoy the clear night skies.

Não gostou Nothing, only downside is we didn't stay longer...Next time!

Can be a bit windy which makes setting up and packing away good fun.

It would be useful to be able to charge electronics/phones in the barn (there may have been a plug, but I didn't see it, had our own power packs)

Gostou The Rounds is a fantastic little campsite with a lovely ocean view all the way to Caldey Island. The coast is just a 10 minute drive away (there is free parking at Amroth Bay) and a 20 minute drive to Tenby.

The are enough toilets and showers (the water gets hot!) on the campsite and they were always clean.
There is a communal barn fully equipped with boardgames, charging stations for phones or other electronics, a fridge and a sink for washing up.

Viv and James are lovely hosts and they really go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels right at home.

Gostou My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the rounds, they have created an incredibly peaceful space that is really well set out for campers. Lots of small extras included to make your stay easier proving how well thought out the site is. All the facilities were clean and well maintained, the main indoor kitchen area is warm and inviting, board games, phone charger ports with holders next to them, local info available and friendly hosts (and a playful dog to fuss makes it even better!). Showers were hot and I really liked that it was almost a normal bathroom with toiler, sink and shower in one room (multiple block, you’re not fighting for space). Would highly recommend staying here and I’m sure we will be returning soon.

Gostou Everything was just amazing!!! We were the only ones who brought a tent so we had the whole pitch to ourselves, minus the bell tents. Shower and bathroom facilities were great, very clean, hot showers, amenities were refilled daily, also a few toilet blocks so never had to wait.

The activities room has a fridge, sink and just everything you really need to camp. They also have a big fire pit where you can barbecue! Car parking is also very close to the pitch.

View of the campsite was amazing too, it’s a sea view and if it’s a clear night you can see all the stars!

Aside from the campsite itself being amazing. James and Viv were lovely hosts, they were so attentive (we were walking through these tall grass as a short cut to get to the toilets, and they must’ve seen us do that cus that bit of grass was mowed the next day!) and just lovely people in general. And if you like dogs, Darcy is a ball of energy and will definitely make your day better!

Overall amazing stay and the best campsite I’ve been to, will definitely come back!

Gostou Wow! James and Viv have really created something special here at The Rounds. The bell tent was perfect and so well decorated. They are had thought of the smallest detail. We had a log fire each night on the small firepit which was perfect! The big shared barn area and showers were immaculate and very cleverly designed. They even had phone charging points for those that can’t live without their phone!
We will be back soon!

Gostou The Rounds has been our absolute favourite on our UK tour. The facilities are stunning and beautifully maintained by Viv and James. The location is an ideal hub if you are looking to explore the southern coast of Wales. Viv and James are amazing hosts who have made an incredible space to share. The star of the show is little Darcy who gives the best cuddles! If we are ever in the area we know where to stay!
