Não gostou Advertised as having a local pub 10 minutes walking distance. This has been closed for months if not years yet they still use this as a selling point. They are well aware this is closed and seemed almost embarrassed when this was highlighted to them , but not so embarrased to stop using it as a selling point.This is false advertising. No one there to greet us, ladies toilet no toilet roll or hand drying . We should be refunded only stayed two hours and left.

Gostou Location, cleanliness of facilities

Não gostou Couldn't park car at side of tent.
No reflection on the site owners, but sometimes think it would be more useful to rate the other people you get stuck beside on the campsite.
We were stuck beside horrible, feral, people with no self awareness, or appreciation of minimum acceptable behaviour.
Kids screaming, parents screaming at them, watching loud telly late at night, as if they were still at home.

Gostou Absolutely loved this site. clean, friendly, had swifts flying overhead. just beautiful. Hard standing pitch. Facilities and shop were great. we will be going back.
There are no other shops nearby so be advised to pack your own food and drink.
The surrounding forest and walks are top rate. beautiful views- out of this world.
we found an idyllic waterfall- with no-one there, we sat for about an hour and just chilled out. was perfect.
There are several walking trails, clearly sign posted within walking distance from the campsite.
We pitched up and just walked everywhere from that point.
Dark skies were good- still a little bit of light pollution but I assume if you walk outside the campsite the sky would be even more amazing.

Gostou Large hedged pitch

Não gostou Unkempt site, broken shower cubicle leaving only 1 shower for all females on site, broken tap bound in tape. No walkable pub as advertised, location not great due to road noise, not great for dark sky experiences due to all lighting on site. Very disappointed.

Gostou This is an idea walking stop for over night of a couple of night, the area is not a tourist place. Considering its a camp site it was clean and well maintained. Electric worked first time.

Não gostou you can not park near your tent even for a drop off, this made it hard going as it was a fair walk to where there was space for the tent. I had emailed about this distance but no one answered. ( I would have cancelled if I had know about the no car next to the car even for a drop off ) No one showed up to our pitch it was a free for all. Paid for extra space but did not get this. Bathrooms not cleaned daily I know this because of the dead moth in the shower for 3 days. Mossies terrible ( although the campsite can do nothing about that ) WIFI - you had to stand at the reception, no signal in the field.Had a poor cut for a few hours - food spoilt as it was during the heat wave

Gostou Sehr schön angelegter und gepflegter Campingplatz im Nationalpark. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Moderne Sanitäreinrichtungen.

Não gostou Bei Ankunft war das Büro nicht besetzt, wir konnten aber unter der dort angeschlagenen Rufnummer den Betreiber erreichen und hatten dann auch schnell einen Stellplatz. Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist ein gutes Stück entfernt.

Gostou De plek voor de tent. Grote plekken in een soort park-achtige omgeving.

Não gostou Toilet/ douche gebouw werd slecht onderhouden. In vier dagen tijd is er maar 1 keer schoongemaakt en toiletpapier bijgevuld...
De vrouwen hadden twee douches, waarvan 1 cabine niet op slot kon.
Bij de mannen ging het licht telkens uit, tijdens het douchen. Ook zij hadden maar twee douches, waarvan er 1 koud/ lauw warm water gaf.
In de prachtige, mooie, nieuwe laundrette ging telkens het licht uit. Zeer knullig allemaal
