O'Connors Campsite

Gostou Not a lot. We didnt actually stay. It was raining so hard all of the pitches were flooding. Not their fault we know. Neat thing was the view.

Não gostou If you like bare minimalist camping then this is the place for you. There is nothing at it and the very “rustic” facilities made it a no go for us. You could use the toilet in the Pub during opening hours.

Gostou Location and scenery and the pub on site are the best things about the campsite!

Não gostou There was a distinct lack of instructions on how to check in and no information on where to set up and where the bathrooms are. (Turns out you go to the pub to check in and the bathrooms are in the dark pink building).

Bathrooms and showers are super basic and there are 2 of each for the whole campsite. Showers are €1 for about 2 mins of hot water.

Gostou Location was fabulous.

Não gostou The facilities could do with an upgrade. Some other campers were outside both nights drinking at their fire until the early hours and being quite loud.

Não gostou Toilet facilities or lack of facilities, 2 unisex cubicles in a small room with two unisex showers , dirty and had no toilet paper on two occasions , no sanitary bins in the toilets. Only two small sinks with taps that hardly worked in the same room so teeth brushing had a queue with an audience. Showers have no temperature control and they are roasting hot so have to dip in and out quickly to try not get burned while washing other than that there are no other facilities here nothing at all not even a campers kitchen so all washing has to be done in the same two tiny sinks as the toilets and showers, we left a day early

Gostou Magnificent views and ambiance in the site.

Não gostou Services not great, showers & toilets grotty with no hot water in the hand basins. The site could do with a good clean up.

Não gostou Need more info to location NB not directly accessible from Dingle in a motorhome .

Gostou There aren’t enough words to describe this place. I wish i had been staying for longer to take in the views. The food in the pub was lovely, the people were a delight and the campsite was in the most perfect place.
The facilities were basic but did the job just fine. Tent pitches were easy to get to and plenty of options.
I cannot recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back very soon!!
