Gostou Little touches like toothpaste and toothbrush in case you forgot xxxcontinous top up of toilet rolls as needed xxxbooked and child games in utility room cleanliness of shower block and toilets xxxlittle touches in ladies toilets ie flowers and scented wash room which was in each toilet xxxcant say enough xxxvery peaceful and quiet despite children running around xxxgreat for kids and dogs etc xxx

Gostou Very friendly owner of site. Took us to our pitch and gave us different options to locate van. Very clean toilet and utility. Would Definately recommend and stay again

Gostou It was our first ever camping trip and it was an amazing place. We stayed for a bank holiday weekend with friends and really enjoyed it. It was so peaceful and relaxing. It was a 5 minute drive to Gretna and a great base. Lots of other families there, everyone was so friendly and the owners couldn’t do enough for everyone. Great facilities, utility room where you could make a cuppa any time of the day or night. Shower block with complimentary shampoo, shower gel and even individually wrapped toothbrush and toothpaste sets. It was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much ❤️

Não gostou No shop. Toilet and shower block basic. Told to park anywhere with no structure of what is parked where.
No internet at all
Would not stay again. Perhaps useful as 1 night stop off if going to Scotland

You booked a grass pitch with hook up and were allocated one in a specific area to keep everyone well spaced.
We do not advertise a shop, so I respectfully cannot understand how that came as a surprise. There is a convenience store one mile away (along with numerous other amenities) that we direct our customers to.
We do not advertise internet, although most phone networks pick up 5G on the park.
We have put a lot of care into upgrading our toilet and shower block. It may not be luxury-style, but it is clean, tidy and well looked after, which many guests appreciate.

I am sorry we did not meet your expectations, but as I'm sure you can understand, it is quite frustrating being scored on things we do not advertise as having!
To our other prospective guests reading this: please read the other 100 reviews to gain an accurate reflection of our park!

Enclosed grounds with lots of space & flat pitches!

Plenty of space for the kids to make new friends & play!

Facilities are super clean, not the newest, but kept nicer than some more modern ones we’ve been to!

Gostou The pitch up, the area, the relaxing atmosphere, how clean the toilets where, the utility room with little kettle and hot drinks bit that you could help yourself to, the welcome of the owner was a lovely touch, set pitch area which really helped for setting up
