Gostou: We were 2 older couples with caravans and this site is very quiet and peaceful. Facilities are old but clean.

Não gostou: There is no physical reception on site. A notice tells you to ring on arrival and they give your allocated pitch numbers. However, the pitches given to us were already occupied, as were all the others suggested. It transpired most of the pitches are occupied as seasonal pitches but they have no idea which ones. We had specifically requested 2 adjacent pitches when booking but there weren’t any. Eventually, 5 phone calls later while they were “sorting it out” we found a young a girl by one of the outbuildings and pointed out the only space for us was in the tent field. She kindly agreed to letting us pitch in there as it was empty and would let them know - all this took place in the pouring rain so we were not happy at all. However, we loved the peace and quiet there and it turned out just right for us.

Gostou: So quiet and peaceful.
Dog walking path right there.
Facilities were clean enough and nice and close.

Não gostou: Advised to call for the warden for any help, which we tried to do on arrival-went straight to voicemail and no one returned our call for the entire stay.
So that wasn’t that helpful.
Never saw any staff.

Gostou: Quiet

Não gostou: No reception on site
Given an already occupied pitch via a note on the notice board ( we were not the only ones) had to go to reception at Carlton meres site next door where they didn’t really care, so picked my own pitch, was then approached by a staff member that said she had written the list and I was in the wrong place ! I pointed out that ‘my’ pitch had a residential caravan on it…..
Toilet block needs up grading
Lack of proper organisation.

Gostou: The area has many walks around and is close to aldeburgh for day trips. Shower blocks are hot and clean. Toilets were ok but they didn’t get checked over the time we stayed so they got very dirty.

Não gostou: Very unorganised when booking through pitch up, the reception at the holiday park where you have to go don’t know any of the details. We had to go in the side with the campervan which made it very difficult to pitch the tent due to hard stones.

Gostou: Very quiet site. Lovely clean showers toilets and washing uo area. Nice to have use if fridge freezer, toaster microwave and jetties if needed. Very tidy site. We will be back. Love the surrounding area.

Gostou: Quiet, clean, well maintained .
Will book again but NOT THROUGH PARK HOLIDAYS

Não gostou: No welcome pack as advertised by Park Holidays on arrival at the reception. So not aware of accessibility to main attractions on main site.
Greeted warmly on entry to reception but turned a little off once l told her l was in my own tourer for Lonely Farm. I got the impression l wasn't worth the time as she got up and proceeded to walk away to another member of staff when she hadn't finished with my directions to The touring site.
Also l was given a plot number only to find a seasonal van already there. So l just picked where l liked as there was no one around on site and no answer from the number provided on site to reception.

Gostou: Quiet, clean bug basic facilities.

Não gostou: Having to fight our way through brambles and stinging nettles to get to our power point and the tap!

Gostou: Quiet location, kitchen with use of microwave etc, nice level pitch, ease to access main site.

Não gostou: Nothing

Gostou: Very quite. Pitch was very good sized.
Showers and toilets were very clean and plenty of hot water. Staff on site were very helpful.

Não gostou: It would be nice if there was a staff member from the main site to meet you and pass on a visitors pack. Also companies that book this site out need to talk to one another as when we arrived, the pitch assigned to us was already occupied by a van that had bought the pitch as a seasonal pitch. It appears that most pitches on site are now seasonal.
