Riverview Caravan Park

Gostou Beautiful and peaceful site.

Pods are spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds. The team is friendly and welcoming and it is clear the owner and his team are striving to constantly improve the site.

We were greeted upon arrival and shown, rather than directed, to our pod. Our request to be near the facilities was happily obliged and everything was checked to be working in the pod before the gentleman left us to enjoy it.

We were told that they were having issues with the hot water but were working hard to resolve it and the owner came and personally apologised. Fantastic customer service.

As seasoned campers we brought our own toilet roll, just in case, but never needed it as the facilities were always clean and well stocked.

This site is perfect for a relaxing break although you will need a car to get out and about but its a perfect base camp.

Loved the decking area, would have benefitted from a little table for my evening glass of wine 😉 but when we come again I will just pop a camping one in the car.

We bought a little fan and I am glad we did as the pods are excellent at retaining heat! In fact the duvet went back in the car.

Wasps were in full force so we made a wasp trap that worked perfectly and meant we weren't overly bothered about them.

Loved meeting Boscoe and having a fuss and its clear the owner is hands on with the site.

Não gostou Nothing! Noticed some reviews have little niggles but most of them could be solved by the people staying with a little forethought and common sense!

Gostou The staff are friendly and they are really helpful. The site is nice and clean just nice for a couple of days get away. We go to woodhall for the swimming and the lovely kinema. Your 3rd time now we will go again.

Não gostou There wasn’t any cups in our pod but it’s not a problem we had brought our own.

Gostou Love this site, Phil and the gang work hard to please everyone
I've just had a hip replacement and they couldn't do enough for me.
We also got to see the air show from the local RAF site whilst we were there.
We will be returning once a month hopefully!

Não gostou Got stuck in the disabled loo but mentioned it to the staff and they fixed it immediately.
Toilets are a bit cobwebby especially the disabled, just a bit of attention to detail would sort this out.

Gostou Not a lot unfortunately. The description seems to say it was everything we wanted but turned out there was little to celebrate. So much so we left 3 days early!
One plus point was the air display from local airfield, that didn’t disappoint.

Não gostou It wasn’t a busy site although it was summer holidays. Only been there 1 day and found a child stuck in the toilets with no toilet paper. Searched all toilets male and female and none to be found. Looked for members of staff and none to be found. Showers, only 2 available and only 1 functional in the ladies until our 3rd day when both showers and toilets broke down completely. Advertised as having a shop, which wasn’t open and when we looked through the window everything was displayed on the floor! Access to river was by walking past other people’s pitches which made you feel uncomfortable & only one walk on site.

We normally get amazing reviews so with your it's was quiet a shock which will be bought to the my team .

Yes this week end we had tremendous problem with out hit water shower with coursed by the hot water expansion tank on Sunday morning failing
I sorry you left early and away of an sorry for the hot water please contact me when will refund Your days Ou did not use and offer you a free long week end

The shop was not open as it has new owners and it's getting ready for this week end

The walk comment is a bit confusing

Walking past other pitches !
Access to the river is along the site road

We're you find miles and miles of a most fabulous walk along the river

Around us there many amazing walks with so much to do

I personally had some great charts with your mum and looked after her and Oscar made some good friends kicking a ball around

Toilet paper has and shall always be problematic that week end we put out 70 rolls a paper soon gone

Gostou We had a lovely time here. Had visited before but with motor home years ago, had a camping pod this time and it was lovely. We brought the dog with us too which was lovely with the decking area, we just put a stair gate up for him. Pods were good size and the fridge and electric was lovely. We have already booked to come again after just getting home. Staff are so friendly. Great place for seeing all the planes

Gostou Friendly, welcoming, inviting people both staff and long term guests and dogs; they made our stay. Some also have roles at the club and they help each other out so the whole place had a sense of community.
For a small site it had a lot of facilities.
Prices in the bar area were low with lots of choice.
The food served was lovely and great value at about £10 for a full plate.
Swimming pool at a site this small if fabulous.
Pitches were flat and well cared for.
Roads had been recently done.
The huts looked great and good value for money.
Wifi in the bar areas.
Woodall Spa and Tattershall Castle nearby; you need a car for this area.

Não gostou Not really dislikes but worth mentioning for others.
The swimming pool is NOT heated
Children were unsupervised in the pool.
WiFi was not consistent in the club area.
Not an issue for us but phone signal was limited, I’m glad we didn’t bring our teen.
Some tidying up required near the showers.
We would have liked to be able to control the temperature of the showers.
If we were staying longer a laundry area would be good.
People stole the toilet roll, take your own if you’re touring or in the huts.
Shop never seemed to open and there was no laundry area.

Thank you for letting me know about the tiding up around the shower block Bern sorted

The pool we a small site and the cost of heating the pool is so high
And we like to keep the pitch and pods prices of £30 per night all year round
It's difecult

We dint advertise as a heated pool it is indoors and the Kidd's seam to love it

We do not need a life guard as we very small and anybody under the age of 16 must be a with an adult

Gostou Good sized pods. Included a fridge which was a bonus. All facilities were clean. Direct access to river walk.

Não gostou Pods are too close together for my liking.
We stayed in July and the river wasn't a pretty sight. It was green as far as the eye could see. No movement. Looked pretty grim.

But I very sorry for the weed on the river and beleave me if I could change this I would
We been told by the river board it's due to the lack of rain

But my godly powers don't go that far

The river is controlled be the sluise gate at Boston

With the lack of water the gates have been closed for some time stopping the natual flow of the river

Your comments saying the pods are to close together is absolutely rediculas



Out 300 previous reviews never been mentioned before

Hence we standing 2nd place out of 360 other touring and carivan parks in Lincolnshire

I understand if we have done something wrong

Gostou The site is very nice friendly we visited the club house enjoyed the 2, nights bingo karaoke good

Não gostou The disabled shower not good no chair in there at all. Door gets stuck needs looking into
