Really peaceful, lovely spot, clean facilities, nice showers, friendly owners, nice stream with a paddling spot.
It’s in a mini valley but is really flat. It wasn’t full when we stayed but looked like even when it is, the pitches are well spaced, not crammed in at all.

The hooks that keep the loo doors shut from the outside to stop the light sensors staying on could be set a bit lower, as they’re hard to reach for smaller kids, so we had to let our smallest in each time. But that’s a very minor point.

Lovely quiet campsite! Plenty of room. The owner (Simon), was helpful, same to greet everyone as and when they were checking in and was so helpful.

There isn't any phone coverage in the area (I'm on Giff Gaff), but not a problem for me, it was nice to switch off.

The facilities, were immaculate. Lovely hot showers, and very clean. Water and wash up area available and even had a few field games to use for children. All in all, what a gem of a find and I will definitely be returning.

Great 3 day break site so clean and tidy and well looked after. Beautiful scenery and peaceful. Toilets and showers were spotless. Simon was so helpful and nothing was to much trouble will deffo be coming back.

Lovely little campsite, spotlessly clean shower/toilet block and plenty of hot water. Lovely views and loved waking up to the sound of the sheep and birds.

This was a lovely site, owners were really nice and friendly as well. Facilities were really good and the views were spectacular.

It wasn't near anything, which personally I like, but you do need to make sure you have everything you need before getting there.

We have just returned from a stay at Runnis Meadow Camping. The place is fabulous, quiet and peaceful surroundings. There is a road next to the campsite, but only 2 cars passed through it during the entire stay, so it is not an inconvenience. The owner is very polite and helpful. as soon as he saw that we were children, he brought them a goal to play with, there were also more outdor toys. The toilets were washed every day, so very clean and tidy. There is also a forest at the campsite with a stream flowing through it. Dogs are welcome. You can rent a fire pit from the owner and buy wood, so we spent two pleasant nights by the fire. Very pleasant area, we also visited the waterfall in Carding Mill Valley. I highly recommend it, we will definitely come back here.

The site was large and quiet, plenty of space for the children to run around. The gate is always closed so it’s safe. The facilities were very clean and the showers were hot, extra touches such as swing hall and football goal that can be borrowed. Also maps and menu for local pub - which served great food. Whole family loved our stay - even the fact we had no signal for our devices!
