toilet paper always run out

Lovely campsite, and location was great. Having the club house was a brilliant extra and the kids loved watching the boats. Lots of space and things for the kids to do such as the playground and football pitch.

That the pitches were first come first served and there was no one on site to talk to.

Only one downfall is the toilets, the floor was always wet and dirty, admittedly probably to be expected to some extent with it being a gravel path and grass/mud but if cleaned more often would be better but i would still stay here again as it was a great place

Lovely big field and little play area for the children.

Self check in, we had a problem with a friend not being able to pitch in the EHU field because someone who wasn’t using electrics had pitched next to us.
Toilets not always the cleanest but nothing drastic.

Really big site, quiet and peaceful.
Lovely on site pub with great staff, very welcoming and friendly.

Very bumpy entrance road and only wide enough for 1 vehicle.
No staff available on arrival, self check in. This made for a very stressful start to our weekend as there’s very little signage to direct you to the tourer field. We ended up at the seasonal pitch site and found a random electric hook up which we used, but not ideal! If no staff, there should be better signage to direct people where to go.
Toilet blocks very small and unclean, in need of attention. Not enough toilets or showers for the size of the site.

The map of the site isn’t great.
We paid for electric hook up, the various people already using hook up had pitched their tents in such a way that it made it impossible for me to get my van in.
When I called the numbers listed for help, the first one failed to answer, the second one said no such number. The third number answered and said he would send the night manager over to sort out my hook up. I told him not to bother as I didn’t want any hassle from other unhappy campers who would have to move so that I could get my camper van in.

Easy straight forward arrival. Nice family facilities. Kids loved the football and basketball area! Clubhouse was open and was cheerful. Showers/toilets clean no complaints. Close enough to York and park and rides so ideal.

The weather 🤣🤣🤣 no control over that!
