Likte Wow! Loved this site - was everything we were looking for! A true ‘field popup campsite’. Communication beforehand was very helpful, very friendly without being over the top. It was a half an hour walk through fields to the Ship Inn in West Stour (although the bar doesn’t open til 6). There are no showers but this is made clear in the information but the toilets are very spacious and clean, the sinks for washing up etc were immaculate and the facilities were amazing for such a set up. Given we were in our third heatwave we were pleased we were in a van and not a tent as the ground was rock hard with huge cracks but Rachel had warned us about this beforehand. The sunset was incredible, our dog loved being able to sniff about and be off lead and the fact that there were only 3 groups camping meant we felt like we had the place pretty much to ourselves.
