Our check-in times are 3–6pm; however, we understand guests are sometimes unexpectedly delayed outside this timeframe, which was the case during your stay. No tents were pitched late at night — though you may have heard a guest returning. We carry out regular evening checks and found the site peaceful once your “silent” generator was turned off. Toilet lighting is kept minimal with low solar lighting, to protect wildlife and allow guests to enjoy stargazing. Pitches are £20 per night for up to 5 people, and during your stay you had both a tourer and a van onsite within that price, which we feel represents good value for money. We kindly ask that any additional visitors have prior approval before coming on site. Our aim is always to keep the site quiet, close to nature, and enjoyable for everyone.
