Likte ikke Part of the field that was left was very uneven, and under the electricity cables. with no pitch markings some people spread themselves out, which meant the rest had to be very close. The main road the campsite was off of was extremely busy for such a small road.

Likte the toilet and shower blocks were ok, and having the use of washing machines, fridges etc was a good addition. Location is great, views are good if people don't pitch up right on top of you.

Likte ikke some electric plots are back to back, and with people putting there tent/vehicle right at the boundary marker made it appear everyone was on top of each other. the one in front of us were actually over the boundary marker, with them and their children kept coming onto our pitch. Not happy with this. we felt too uncomfortable to sit outside out tent as it felt like we were intruding on their gathering, they had lots of people and cars there. We did not feel comfortable staying so we decided to leave early. The views were good until the people in front decided to put there van right at the boarder marker and block the views. Did message owners but no response.

Likte Location was great, showers and toilets were clean and nice Loved the little farm shop. Field was good. We had no issues. We would stay again

Likte The views were amazing, lady who runs it was very friendly and approachable. The large fire pit with chairs all around was nice. Single shower was nice. The newly built communal shelter was really nice along with the solar powered phone charging units. Location great

Likte ikke Only one shower, the wooden shed it was in was too small, you couldn't get dressed easily, you stepped in to a very small area, only max foot wide, then the shower curtain and cubicle, would be better if the entrance part was bigger. even though the grass had been cut, it was still quite long and was extremely lumpy and it was mainly a very steep slop. The porta loos were on one side of the field and the 1 shower was at the bottom of the very steep sloppy field. Drinking water was just in one place next to the shower.

Fra bestyreren: Hi Phillipa, I'm so sorry you weren't expecting a slope, as it's in the title and address Summit Camping Kit Hill. I am pleased that you enjoyed what amenities we do have as we are just a pop up back to nature site. we try hard every year to add something & take on board what you all say, so as your review is the only one to mention limited space in the shower we will do something about that next year. We only have 1 as that is as far as the water gets up the hill ( 1,300 feet above sea level) & the pressure then trails right off, hence 1 shower & 1 tap. not ideal, but better than none. you can drive to it or pitch nearer. We will be adding a washing up station by the shower and hope to add a covered area. The grass had been cut and baled in June, as a farm field it is then left to grow before being cut and baled for hay bales the next time, so yes, is a tad rustic.
