Camping Coll Vert

Camping Coll Vert’s local beach a short stroll away is Playa de Pinedo, a kilometre and a half of golden sand next to Pinedo town and to Valencia’s south. It’s lifeguarded in summer and has public toilets and showers, sun lounger hire and disabled access and an adapted walkway. The freshwater lagoon and estuary of Albufera, part of the Albufera Natural Park, is eight kilometres from base. Its wetlands are a Ramsar Site and protected area for birds, with over 350 species spottable as well as giant flocks of migratory birds. And then to Valencia… The province capital is an ancient settlement with weeks’ worth of things to see: among the musts are the City of Art and Science, the cathedral, Europe’s biggest aquarium the Oceanográfico, and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía opera house.
