Likte Beautiful setting with lambs in nearby fields. We had full on board facilities so it was an easy stay overnight.

Likte Beautiful setting. Plenty of space to manouvre. Fresh meat available on site.

Likte Peace and quiet, views. Flat, even pitch. Good pub within walking distance and good walk though to Tissington village

Likte Hard standing pitches with electric. Lovely views from the campsite. Helpful owners who leant is an extension lead for the electric. We will definitely return to do some walks around the area.

Likte Great location for lovely walks. Owner really friendly and nothing too much trouble. Filled up with water and facilities to empty toilet and ehu. The old dog pub down the road a real bonus. Will return.

Likte Brilliant little campsite very very peaceful. Close to ashbourne dovedale trail is rite on your doorstep and the tissington trail what could you want.

Likte Fantastic site, Beautiful views from the pitch, loved having the sheep in the field next to us, owners of site always around if you need help, Matt went out of his way to get some water for us, as the water taps had frozen up.

Likte We stayed at Hollington End Farm in Dec/Jan and it was an absolute delight. We had a pitch in the corner, overlooking the fields of sheep. Fortunately we were blessed with perfect weather and the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The hardstanding pitch was level, easy to access and had electric hookup. Water was available close by and when the pipes froze, the owners were so helpful and we filled up outside their farmhouse. The owners were really friendly but not intrusive and the site had a lovely relaxed feeling about it. There are no toilet or shower facilities but we chose the site knowing about this and it is not an issue for us with our own bathroom. The walking around the area is absolutely stunning. About 15 minutes away from the site is a great pub called The Old Dog and we went there a couple of times during our stay. Lovely food and great service. The Tissington Trail is also about 15 minutes away and we said that we would definitely bring our bikes along next time so that we could cycle. Tissington Village is about 20-25 minutes walk away with a lovely tea room, close to the duck pond and a number of small businesses are situated there too. A bus service runs from the main gate into Ashbourne and towards Buxton. We walked into Ashbourne and back along the Tissington Trail, great for the dogs and an easy walk for those who may not be too keen on hill walking. Another great walk was to Dovedale and up Thorpe Cloud where the views were breathtaking. It was a first time visiting the Peak District for the two of us and the site was absolutely the right choice. The owners farm sheep and beef, and they have a supply of homegrown produce for sale at really good prices. The sirloin was amazing! We were treated to a lovely restored steam engine rolling past on the road and they stopped to allow us to have a good look. Some people have commented on the road but for us it wasn't any problem at all. We live in a very quiet area at home and are extremely noise sensitive but we weren't bothered with the noise. Cars and vehicles obviously do go past but it didn't trouble either of us. The cherry on top was when the snow arrived and turned everything into a picture perfect white wonderland! We couldn't fault our stay with Stephanie and her family and would definitely return and recommend with absolutely no hesitation. Thank you for a beautiful, peaceful holiday!
