Ik was blij met Lovely site with pitches arranged adjacent to a large fishing lake. Nice informal layout with shepherd huts intermingled with pitches. Hard standing pitches with grass for awnings and other grass pitches. Good facilities block with washing up area and extensive recycling for rubbish. Lovely spacious dog walk around perimeter of site with plenty of wildlife. Site is adjacent to fields and close to York with Park and Ride on an easily reached massive retail area. Owner of site is helpful and very knowledgeable about the area.

Ik was blij met Beautiful position on the edge of the River Lune estuary with great walks along the river in both directions and all the way into Lancaster. Very natural site with fields and woods all around. Good facilities and nearby garden centre has a nice cafe which is open for breakfast etc.

Ik was niet blij met Adults only strictly enforced, which meant our friends were forbidden to come onsite to visit. Pitches are pretty rough hardstanding and no motorhome emptying point although there are drains at the end of the pitches but not accessible to a motorhome - had to empty waste using a succession of bowls.

Ik was blij met Beautiful site with lovely views over surrounding countryside. Clean tidy pitches and well maintained grass and hedges. There are goats and sheep alongside the pitches, and oyster catchers fly overhead. Showers and toilets are small but perfectly adequate and the people who run the site are delightful and very helpful.

Ik was niet blij met The lane around the site is very narrow and a bit of a squeeze when walking and tractors and lorries come along.
