Ik was blij met Everything! Toilets always clean and well stocked. Plenty to occupy the children. We had the pitch right next to the park which, with a one year old was great but also hard work as you can imagine haha. Amazing space for children to play football. Go karts to watch on the hill. We thought the power plant in the distance would be awful but it's not even visible once your on site. We will be rebooking in the future!

Ik was niet blij met There only being 2 toilets for each gender, there wasn't any long ques but a 3rd toilet would be handy. I did sent my girls into the gents a few times, but this won't stop us returning!

Ik was blij met Clearly laid out pitches. Very helpful and kind owners. Great location. Kids enjoyed the farm animals.

Ik was blij met The owners are truly the nicest people. Our friends and I didn't book as a group but they tried to find pitches as close together as they could, even helped our friends pitch their tent. Plenty of toilets. Level pitches. We were able to freeze our ice packs as the office has a freezer, accessable by the owners during office hours. Plenty of space for children to play. Facilities cleaned throughout the day. Spacious washing up facilities. Pitches are marked up with painted lines. Plenty of water points. Just a short drive to main shops or a little walk to a pertol station. It is close to a road but the sound of passing cars/tracters didn't bother us. We plan on booking again for next year.

Ik was blij met Quality of the grass, although in places hard to peg into, due to rocks below the surface. Lovely open spaces to pitch. Sheep and horses for kids to look at near entrance. Bathrooms where always topped up with hand wash, paper towels and toilet rolls.

Ik was niet blij met The shower, it seamed the hot water supply for the showers are shared with the washing up sink, with the sink taking priority making it hard to shower, especially young children. The shower cubicle have no light, luckily we had lights with magnets on which attached to the door hinges. There is an electric fence at the pond, which my child couldn't resist touching even after telling them not to, I'm sure they thought we were lying, long story short, it hurt.

Van de manager: Thankyou for your review. Our facilities are basic and our rates reflect this and we advertise as such. We are a very quiet site and last few years only have 2 or 3 pitches at a time here and facilities are built for this and showers have been adequate as most are visiting us mainly for the fishing . With the Virus situation this year we have been seeing 10-15 pitches here at a time as the county has run out of accommodation and yes this does put a strain on things but we see normality returning next year although many who have found us for the first time this year are already booking for next summer. If you read your welcome letter you will see we have also laid on additional showers especially for non-angling families and it does state just ask if you wish to use these in one of the static caravans here. We do however as pointed out thoroughly clean the toilet block several times a day. The fence is an otter fence that runs round the entire fishery and is labelled clearly and only at the far side of the touring field.

Ik was blij met Everything. I can't think of a single fault. The grass was in very good condition. It was lovely being able to pitch on a spot of our choice. The views were lovely to wake up to. Very peaceful night (no busy roads). The rain didn't even bother us. It was that lovely we stayed for an extra night. Although the campsite has no electric pitches, there was a socket near the toilets/showers for blowing up beds which other campers used. Oh writing this is making me want to pack the car up and go back now. We will be visiting again next year.
