Ik was blij met Lovely owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Very welcoming & helpful. Always on hand if you needed them. Great views from site, you can see for miles! We'll definitely be back.Very peaceful & quiet.

Ik was blij met View if on TOP of hill. Pub in village. Phone reception ( Three & 02). Toilets were ample space well lit and plenty of roll, never used shower. Owner was very friendly and helpful

Ik was niet blij met Smelly aproach through yard to caravan park. Flies Flies Flies, millions ofthem, flie traps needed in tents and vans.Make sure you have them. Steep hill to pitches , very rough stones ( more like for road stone packing) very big and uneven, care needed if walking, NOT SUITABLE for Disability persons. Bins got left uncollected after weekend warriors left, Expensive for what it was, £35 per night. The burning of rubbish on the farm and top of field really spoiled an Evening during stay, Very noisey pressing of horn to attract cows in the evening was uneventful and also the vans,cars and caravans trying to try and climb the hill to the pitches made plenty of noise when slipping over rough stones.

Ik was blij met Clean & tidy quiet park. We were on pitch 1 ,which was very close to the old toilet block. We found the new toilet block much nicer, also better views from pitches up the top end ( pitch no's in the 50s). Much better views from up there

Ik was niet blij met No phone signal on 3 or virgin. Had to go into Llandudno to sign up for Vodafone or O2. Approach roads to the site very narrow, but that's not the site's fault. Just glad we didn't meet anyone coming the other way!

Ik was blij met Nothing except close to Beamish.

Ik was niet blij met Pitches could have been level,new tarmac but laid by Stevie Wonders Crew. Water connection on wrong side for caravan,drainage was overgrown, Ladies Disabled toilet/shower out of order for our duration. Far too EXPENSIVE for what you get.. Weekend tents seem to allow their kids to run riot around others whilst they drink all night until 5.00am then they want to sleep all day, NO staff intervention. Park could well use a good cleanup. Smell from refuse skip powerful especially when getting emptied. Very tight road to campsite, meet a lot of traffic along a Single track road in places. Signs on road says " Unsuitable for Caravans" when satnav tells you that's where you're to go.Very confusing. We tried for other sites close to Beamish, they were full, now we know why. £34.00 per night most expensive campsite we've ever stayed on and also the worst. I told owners of my criticism they took it on the chin, but never offered me a refund even though we left 1 day early because of the facilities.
