Ik was blij met We loved the on site cafe/bar. The tent pitches are really spacious which is always a bonus. We loved that the site allowed camp fires. Plenty of showers and toilet facilities.

Ik was niet blij met We did think the cost to hire the camp fire is quite steep for 24 hours. So lucky for us our friends brought theirs so we just had to buy the logs.

Ik was blij met We stayed over the August bank Holiday weekend and didn't find the park overcrowded at all. It was such a lovely little site, mainly caravans and tourers with a girls for around 7 tents and 2 permanent tippees. We were on pitch number 3 but if we return would love pitch 5. The views were gorgeous and the lady in charge was so friendly, bubbly and gave us some local knowledge about what to do and see in the area. The pub just down the lane was so lovely, we never ate there just had a little early evening drink and girls played on the park, even ending up playing a huge game of tag with all the other kids at the pub. The location is perfect and it was a fabulous base for our explore of the Llyn Peninsular. Beautiful part of Wales... we will be back.

Ik was blij met Loved the site and the bell tent itself. Ruth could not be more friendly and accommodating for us. Offering use of the kayaks and use of alternative washing facilities as unfortunately the solar shower was broken. Back to basics which we love and we'd love to bring our girls here.

Ik was blij met Brilliant campsite - expect basis and you wont be disappointed. The views around the campsite are spectacular - panoramic. The walks locally are excellent - the kids were paddling and splashing about in the rock pools on one of the days. Its a fab location about 30-40 minutes drive from Lake Windermere and the Yorkshire Dales are the opposite way. There is a lovely ice cream shop close by also. We will definitely be back. Campfires every night, clear starry skies - what more could you want!

Ik was niet blij met Unfortunately we were a little unlucky as the caravan which holds the washing up facilities and shower facilities - the electrics were shorting out and as it was a bank holiday getting an electricians was very difficult. However, Rosie couldnt be more apologetic and accomodating as much as she could - even giving my sister pieces of foam to sleep on when their air bed got a puncture. Even though this is very positive - it would have been nice to have an extra shower on site and I would imagine this could bother some people -although Rosie never accepts more than about 30 people depending on group dymanics so you pretty much have so much space and an enormous field to yourselves - its awesome!

Van de manager: Hi Rebecca I'm delighted you all had such a happy time and enjoyed some of the local walks. It was a pleasure to have you here. Isn't it just typical for the power supply to fail on a Bank Holiday weekend! Of course this did put pressure on the facilities as we couldn't safely put up temporary lighting in the shower area, (Except when a kind camper lent us his battery lamp, bless him. We do get very nice people staying here!) Happily the electrician quickly restored the power supply and everything is working properly again.
