Ik was blij met Plenty of space and flat pitches on a large field with the freedom to pitch anywhere, so you can be as close to or far away from others as you want. Clean toilets and washing up facility. The river borders the far side of the field and this makes for the more interesting pitch sites if you want to spot the wildlife in and around the river and its banks. Fire pits and barbecues permitted when no wildfire warnings in effect. Helen, the manager, was very welcoming and keen to ensure the guests got the most out of their stays. They have only been open a few weeks but, already, they have plans to further improve the site. Would thoroughly recommend for an as close to wild camping experience as possible. P.S. no issues finding the site or accessing it after very clear explanation from the owner as we arrived after 6pm.
