Ik was blij met Location is perfect, in between Kendal and Windermere. The sunset views were amazing! Only about 10 minutes in the car from Windemere where we like to go for a walk up Orrest head with the kids and we’re able to pick up some extra food from the shops. It is a back to basics campsite so there are only portaloos (these were cleaned every morning and night) and a washing up point (only produces cold water), make sure you take lots of water for drinking and cooking. There is a skip where you can discard of your rubbish too. We took our two children and had a lovely screen free weekend enjoying the Lake District! Our children loved seeing the alpacas and sheep in the fields next to the site.

Ik was niet blij met You could hear a main road at night, we did read this on a previous review but it wasn’t so distracting that we couldn’t sleep.
