Ik was blij met We arrived late afternoon and managed to get our tent pitched in time for a beautiful sunset. Very spacious and beautiful site with views of the Brecon beacons in the distance. Dave and Charlotte were so lovely and popped by early afternoon the next day to see how we were settling in. They are extremely friendly and welcoming and told us about the fridge and freezer facilities, the animals and the flower field which is absolutely beautiful. My son thought the sheep were great as they had been dipped and were bright orange! Cold drinks and ice cream are available by the sunflower field and works on am honesty box system when one of the family aren't in attendance. The facilities are basic but they were very clean and there was handwash by the basin and washing up liquid by the sink in the washing up area. The shower was warm and water pressure was great. We ansoluttfell in love with the place and will definitely be back again and again. The fact we could pitch where we liked, no pitch size limits and especially no strict times for arrival or leaving meant the whole stay was relaxed and we could take things at our own pace. A massive plus was that the dog was welcome also. I couldn't have asked for more from a no frills camp site. It didn't get so busy that everyone was packed in like sardines and gave us the countryside, wild camping feel we were looking for. Loved every minute and was sad to come home.
