Ik was blij met Beautifully kept field campsite with well spaced pitches and clean and modern facilities. Even though we visited in peak season and it was full, the whole site has a lovely peaceful welcoming vibe. We appreciated the dog walk field to exercise our pup. The warden, Donna, was really helpful finding me some gaffa tape when we had a kit emergency which was really lovely. We didn’t make it to The Bulls Head Inn but it looked nice. We had a brilliant meal at The Barrel Inn 10 mins away at the top of the opposite hill (we’ve been there three times in recent years and always had a great meal/drink with a view). Really well located for both White and Dark Peaks if walking is your thing.

Ik was niet blij met A few people have commented on needing more toilets etc which would be helpful but we really didn’t need to wait long for either.
