Ik was blij met Beautiful location. Very quiet Facilities as stated. Lots of nice walking Nice stop for photography with lots of wildlife and nice landscapes. Hares Buzzard, deer all seen during a 2 night stay.

Ik was niet blij met Black waste station was unclean and didn’t flush properly. Owners not visible so seems largely unmonitored

Van de manager: Hi Neil, thanks for the positive review and for staying with us a couple of time in the last two weeks. Just wanted to confirm that we are checking the caravan site at least daily (every evening), and generally multiple times a day when going about jobs on the farm. However as we're fitting these checks in around farm activities they are often early morning or late evening, or even when passing through in a tractor so might not be obvious to people staying! It is very important for us to have daily record of who's staying and to ensure that the facilities are kept in good order. I checked the elsan tip yesterday evening and it was clean and working, so sounds as though a user before you yesterday may not have flushed it properly. Hope this clarifies how we monitor the site and hopefully you will visit again soon. Thanks Harry

Ik was blij met Beautiful spot, quiet with lovely walking. Close to village, pub etc Deer and other wildlife were seen in fields adjacent. Site shaded in the mornings till 9 ish so cool, but then Sun all day. Facilities were as advertised and functioned well. Good mobile reception. Dog friendly. Sensible rules displayed but not excessive. Would use again. Scored 3 for customer service because all there is, is an online booking system, which was perfectly acceptable.

Ik was niet blij met One visitor had four dogs and didn’t control them. They weren’t a problem but a bit of a nuisance. Site owner wasn’t present at any point during our stay so it went unchallenged. Signage on entry was poor. A simple sign saying campsite this way as you get into the yard would be helpful.
