Ik was blij met Beautiful scenery with a stunning hill top view of the sea (from the site, sadly not the bell tent itself). It’s also a great location in terms of things to do, with beaches, train lines and wild life parks nearby. Facilities were well maintained and mostly clean.

Ik was niet blij met Communication could have been clearer - for example we weren’t told that we needed to order farm meat for cooking in advance. A quick email or more info about this on Pitchup.com would have avoided the disappointment of not having fresh or defrosted produce available (one of the reasons for booking a farm site). Check in was quite impersonal and could have been friendlier on arrival at the tent. Despite arriving during the check-in times on Pitchup.com and calling the number as instructed (twice), no one answered my call.

Van de manager: thank you for your review which is important to us. sorry you were not able to sample our farm produce, and yes it doe's need to be ordered in advance as we need to obtain it from the farm. thank you for letting us know that this info was not on pitch-up. there should have been a member of staff at the check in times and someone should have answered the phone, we will investigate this as to the reasons why there was no staff available. please do remember that this site can get very windy occasionally and rubbish can sometimes get blown over from other pitches, of course this should not happen as people should contain their rubbish but some don't. I believe you will have a better experience next time if this is possible for you.
