Ik was blij met The campsite is located close to the beach and town, meaning you don’t need to drive out everyday. The supermarket is walkable, but we chose to drive as it was hot! The pools are really good fun, although not all the features were working. There is a good play area including a bouncy castle - unfortunately this was right near the entrance and road which meant we didn’t feel comfortable letting our child go there without an adult. The pool and the washing facilities were clean. The pitches are a good size and are well shaded which is great when you’re in a tent! The lady in the little shop was lovely.

Ik was niet blij met When we arrived, we got a very cold welcome from the owner who acted like we were inconveniencing him. His attitude did not get better during the stay - for example, he seemed to leave us waiting longer than others at the bar - We have no idea if we did something to offend him or if he’s like that with others, but we saw him smiling and laughing with other guests. There is no map and we had no introduction to where things are, meaning we didn’t find some of the facilities until days after we arrived! There is no toilet paper or hand soap in the toilets. In the block closest to us there was only three showers in the ladies facilities. (There is another block, but I didn’t find that until day 3!) The toilet block is closed for cleaning in the morning when everyone needs to use the facilities which seems really odd and poorly thought out.

Ik was blij met The campsite is perfect. Everything has been thought of to make your stay as good as it can be. The pitches are all level and are a great size. The whole site is well looked after and is lovely to walk around. The site has a really good, spacious play area and football pitch with a nice little ‘secret walk’. Along with the toilet/shower blocks, the site has a laundry room with two freezers that are accessible for ice packs, a washing up room, a games room and a small shop. The facilities are modern and always clean. The site also feels incredibly safe and we were happy to let our 6 year old walk to the toilet and explore a bit by himself. We saw lots of wild animals including bats, barn owls, swallows and many different song birds. We went during the World Cup and the owners kept the games room open late to show the matches. The atmosphere in there was great and very welcoming and the owner even watched the matches too.
