Ik was blij met Very clean, well maintained, everything looked new and well cared for. Felt very safe, lovely Mountain View’s. Great to be allowed fires. Obviously cared for.

Ik was niet blij met There was no shop, would have been really useful to be able to get small bits without having to drive out. Staff were friendly but also you felt like they were watching you and they instantly questioned you if you went the wrong way exploring. The paths and roads to find your pitch were super confusing… a one way system with clear arrows would work much better. It just missed a magic spark for us, we wanted something like a little shop or pizza stall or somewhere to grab camping essentials. Never found the ball game stuff as we got told off for exploring.

We appreciate all your feedback. A one way system is not possible as there is only one road in and out of the field. We do not advertise that we have a shop and encourage our guests to support the community shop in the village. We're sorry if you felt overly monitored during your stay — We do not allow our guests in our maintenance yard for safety reasons. The games area is something we're proud of and we'd love for you to have found it — our team are always happy to point guests in the right direction. The location was also shown on the map that you were given upon arrival.

Ik was blij met Beautiful campsite, super friendly owners/staff, great idea to have a bar and shelter if wet, porta loos clean and well stocked, soooo much space, football goals for the kids (and big kids haha), great that they let you have bbqs and open fires which is what camping is all about! Great value for money, they don’t rip you off like everywhere else does at the moment

Ik was niet blij met Didn’t bother us too much but the facilities are quite a trek, but we only stayed one night and the porta loos were very close so didn’t bother us too much, the campsite is on top of a hill which our camper found hard to get up the track but we managed it! These are tiny little things but didn’t upset our stay at all!

Ik was blij met Location to beach, the owners dog, toilets were clean, supported us being able to hook up when cable was short.

Ik was niet blij met Very overpriced. Location to sea was great but the site needs to have better standards even with that to warrant the cost. Only one shower working when arrived and then when we went to use it we couldn’t as it had lots of what looked like inspectors stood around it - not sure what was going off. This meant my little girl couldn’t wash after being at the beach. We ended up going home early because she wasn’t very well and the fact lots of inspectors were walking around checking the water didn’t make us feel comfortable looking after her there. We don’t mind basic campsites, but do expect to be able to shower and not to pay stupid prices if the facilities aren’t there.

Van de manager: Thank you Hannah for your review, we were having our electricity tested at the time and there was nothing to be worried about, we are sorry that we were having some issues with the showers, this is being rectified. We offer back-to-basic camping in a fantastic location, we are surrounded by crass holiday parks that may have been more to your liking. Here we offer beautiful views over open marshlands, and have the beach on our doorstep. It being the peak season prices are a little higher of course. We hope that you'll visit us again soon of course, maybe at a quieter time :)
