Ik was blij met Friendly welcome from lovely people who were available throughout the stay and approachable without being intrusive, clear instructions on facilities and security access and took us to the pitch. Level grass pitch with electric. Great stopover to break a longer journey. Excellent shower and toilet facilities, plus pot washing etc. Other reviews mention sound of road, which is accurate, but we didn't find it intrusive although it might be an issue if you were staying longer but other aspects of the site more than made up for it. For example, the excellent security, far better than most sites. Also check out the container village down the road, best brownies I've ever had available in the cafe there. All round, the site is a winner.

Ik was blij met Good communication, clean facilities, level pitch. Sadly we missed the restaurant as we were delayed and arrived late. Friendly staff and customers. Great place to break a longer journey.

Ik was blij met Nice level pitch, clean toilets, hot shower that doesn't turn itself off just when you've got shampoo in your eyes, lovely. Plenty of places to hang towels and clothes too plus shelf space and above all lovely and clean. Just what you need and all topped off with a warm friendly welcome. Road near the pitch but quiet overnight and site not too far from Corbridge so Grants Bakery for coffee and cake. Just about perfect, no frills, basic site a step up from portaloos and only a few pounds extra for the ehu and proper loos. We will definitely be back 👍😁

Ik was blij met Great site, plenty of space, great pub food, quiet, beautiful countryside with well marked public footpaths to local town right from the end of the field. Toilets and showers were clean and plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower and plenty of loos for the size of the site. Blue skies, sunshine and birdsong with no road noise even though its not far from the A1. Couldn't ask for more and if you can arrange that weather next time we'll definitely be back 🤣.

Ik was blij met Lovely quiet location and fantastic pub next door with breakfast bookable in advance. Very informal, no booking in, just turn up and find your own spot. We also had a good meal in the evening. Unisex loos but with the option of a single loo if you're worried by that. Very handy for our visit to Scarborough the next day.

Ik was niet blij met No fires allowed according to the sign (which other visitors ignored). I think you could officially allow fires and offer wood. 🤔 but nothing wrong as is so just a suggestion.
