Ik was blij met We have now stayed at this site for two separate weekends within the last month. We stayed in a tent , but the site is popular with campervans and cars with roof tents. Pat the owner is very friendly and attentive. The Devonshire Arms pub is less than a two minute walk via the gap in the wall from the camping field. There is a pizza van and honestly shop that sells cakes, drinks, milk, bread and lots more. Food in pub is good but you need to book a table on a Saturday night as it gets busy. The sites’s toilets are clean and functional and you have the option of homemade handwashing which is really nice and there is a drinking water standpipe. Plenty of walks from the site with Castleton being within walking distance if you are after a long walk. We will be returning back before the end of the season.
