Ik was blij met Stayed here a few times before, and will definitely be returning. This is a lovely, well maintained site, with grass and trees surrounding a central sanitary block. You are free to pitch wherever you choose. There is a supermarket with petrol station just minutes away. Some fabulous walks from the doorstep, and a small scenic railway adjacent to the site.

Ik was blij met This is an exceptionally well run site, in a beautiful and peaceful setting, with Sylvie and Fabrice doing everything possible to anticipate the needs of guests. We camped, and enjoyed the feel of wild camping (pitching amongst trees in complete privacy) with the comfort of a small spotless shower block, plentiful hot water for washing up, and a shared kitchen equipped with a gas double burner, electric kettle, coffee maker, pans, utensils and crockery. There are tables and chairs available just outside the kitchen for guests to use. Fabrice came to greet us within moments of phoning him on arrival (no hunting round the site trying to find someone), and Sylvie came to check that everything was fine shortly afterwards. We’ve been camping for years, and this is one of the best sites - if not the very best - we’ve stayed on. Thank you, Sylvie and Fabrice!

Ik was blij met There are no defined pitches, you can pitch up wherever you fancy on a wide strip of grass adjoining a field, with plentiful shade from apple and walnut trees. I was expecting a bumpy field with a dilapidated shed containing a dubious shower and dodgy toilet. However, the unisex shower and toilet are in a large, modern agricultural building and are spotlessly clean. This is a working farm, so you may have to go and look for the owner. We were made to feel very welcome, with the owner lending us a guide to the area, and ensuring we knew where to find the facilities. The view from the site is lovely.

Ik was niet blij met There was nothing we disliked. However, if you are very sensitive to noise be aware that this is a working farm. My husband was woken by the sound of chickens (no bad thing and it didn’t bother him) but I slept through it. Bring earplugs rather than miss out on a treat of a site.

Ik was blij met Level site with plenty of trees providing shade. The well maintained sanitary block is in the centre of the site, so easily accessible wherever you pitch up. This appears to be a popular site with everyone from young children to the elderly. Also all types of campers were there: cyclists, car + tent, small and larger camper vans. There’s a small supermarket (with petrol station) a few minutes walk away. A special mention for the man who manages bookings on site so efficiently and cheerfully!

Ik was blij met Site is very easy to find, and is within a two minute drive of a supermarket. Pitches are not marked out and we could choose where we wanted to pitch our tent. Plenty of trees providing shade. The sanitation block is placed centrally on site, so no need to take distance away from it into account if choosing a pitch for a basic tent. Hot water for showers and washing dishes at no extra charge.

Ik was niet blij met Unfortunately, over the two nights we stayed there was a festival very close by, with loud music until 3am the first night, and partying until morning. The site manager apologised for the noise levels when we arrived, but obviously this was out of his control. I imagine it’s peaceful for the majority of the year.
