Ik was blij met The pitch we stayed at was a generous size and we liked the fact that water was conveniently located between pitches. The site is just a short walk from the canal tow path where we were able to take interesting walks past the Caen Hill locks.

Ik was niet blij met The slope of the field made levelling our ‘van a challenge and the chemical disposal point was very basic but functional .

Ik was blij met This is a large site given over mainly to camping pitches. There is a great variety of both secluded and open grass pitches from which to choose and all appear to have excellent views. Reception hours are limited to mornings and early evening but we were warmly welcomed when we finally checked in. We stayed in one of the five fully serviced gravel and grass pitches which was generously sized and reasonably level. The facilities were clean and the site was well maintained. There was a great play area for children and a useful large dog walk area at the far end of the site. The mobile fish and chip van that arrived mid week served up some well cooked haddock and chips! TV signal strength was very good.

Ik was niet blij met Access to the site was a problem for us as our sat nav took us down a narrow cul de sac where it was impossible to turn around! When we did get back to the correct approach although there was one very good brown sign the second sign was a small green sign with no identifying site name ( it could have been pointing to any random camp site!)A second brown sign or at the very least a sign pointing to “tower park” would be a great help to guests unfamiliar with the location. Wi-Fi coverage was limited to the reception area only.
